PARTICIPANTS AND ELIGIBILITY. (i) Participation in this tournament is by invitation only. This tournament is open only to current members of Texas B.A.S.S. Nation who are 16 years of age or older, who are active members of the appropriate Texas B.A.S.S. Nation state chapter and who have participated in the appropriate Texas B.A.S.S. Nation qualifying tournament(s). Participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent. However, employees, officers and directors of B.A.S.S. or its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children and sibling, regardless of where they live) are ineligible. Proof of age to the satisfaction of tournament officials is the responsibility of potential competitor. Any candidate for competition who, in the judgment of the Tournament Director, is disabled in such a manner as to unfairly hinder his/her partner or endanger the safety and well-being of his/her partner or themselves may not be eligible.
PARTICIPANTS AND ELIGIBILITY. A. Participation in this tournament series is by invitation only. Angler must be a student currently enrolled in school, in good academic standing, and a member of a Bassmaster Junior club. Certain schools allow 8th grade students to compete. If angler’s institution allows 8th grade students to compete the grade levels will be 2nd – 8 th grade. Competitors will be considered an “incoming student” into the next grade once they have completed their final exams in their current grade. They will then be able to participate in events once the aforementioned criteria has been met and they are in the admissible grade bracket to compete. Graduating 8th graders will be extended a grace period and allowed to compete in the summer months once their 8th grade year has been completed. They will not be allowed to fish in any events that are qualifying for the next calendar school year. This is a team event. You must have a partner and coach to compete. If extenuating circumstances exist that prohibit you from having a partner in the tournament, then a request must be submitted to B.A.S.S. in writing for approval. B.A.S.S. reserves the right to accept or deny such request.

Each calendar year prior to competing in a B.A.S.S. Nation Kayak Series event, all competitors must complete a W-9 and when required a FORM 590, or W-8 BEN provided by B.A.S.S. If tax status or address changes occur, new forms must be submitted prior to participation in the next B.A.S.S. event. Tournament entry fees must be received by the B.A.S.S. Nation Department on or before the entry deadline date. The Tournament Director reserves the right to discontinue acceptance of applications prior to deadline and also the right to extend the acceptance date. • Any person under the age of 18 entering a tournament must also have permission and a signed release of a parent or legal guardian. • All contestants must have a valid fishing license for the waters they fish.

The tournament committee reserves the right to discontinue acceptance of applications prior to the deadline and also the right to extend the acceptance date. Refund of entrance fee will be made only if PROPER notification is made prior to the deadline.
