Part-Time Employee (PTE. A “Part time” employee is an employee who is hired to fill a part-time position for an indefinite time and is scheduled in advance as required. Part time employees will not normally be scheduled for more than sixty (60) hours in any pay period. However when operationally required or in times of peak demand the Employer may schedule part time employees for up to eighty-four (84) hours in any pay period.
