ON CALL AND CALL BACKS. A. Employees on call shall be compensated with five (5) hours of overtime pay, per week, if on call. These employees are those in the Investigations Division.
ON CALL AND CALL BACKS. (a) Where an employee is instructed to be on call during normal off duty hours, an on call allowance shall be paid at the following rate in addition to other remuneration: $2.50 per hour for each hour “on call”.
ON CALL AND CALL BACKS. The Parties agree that for the term of this Collective Agreement, and for purposes of this Letter, “on-call” shall refer to a period outside the member’s regularly scheduled tour of duty in which he is readily available to respond to emergent circumstances and to return to duty as required, and “call-back” refers to a period outside the member’s regularly scheduled tour of duty wherein the member has reported off duty and has left the premises and is called back to work before his next tour of duty. Members will normally be advised well in advance of any period in which they are expected to be on-call. For each four (4) hour period or part thereof that a member is placed on-call, he shall be compensated one (1) hour at his regular hourly rate. In the event of an incident requiring the member’s attendance during the on-call period, the member shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for each hour of such call-back duty with a minimum guarantee of three (3) hours calculated at time and one-half (1-1/2) for each callback, such time to be credited to his Senior Officer’s lieu time bank. Such compensation shall not be considered part of the Senior Officer’s lieu time credited annually.

  • Call Backs 9.1 Call-back occurs when the employee:

  • Call Back Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work or four (4) hours pay at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular hourly earnings. Superior provisions shall remain.

  • On Call 10.1.1 In the interests of healthy rostering practices, the parties agree that the allocation of on-call time should be spread as evenly as practicable amongst those required to participate in an on-call roster.

  • On-Call Duty (a) Employees shall be paid one (1) hour of pay at the regular straight time rate for each six (6) hours of assigned on-call duty. Employees who are assigned on-call duty for less than six (6) hours shall be paid on a prorated basis.

  • On-Call Pay 1. When a regular, limited-term or probationary employee is assigned on- call duty by the County, the employee shall, whenever practicable, be informed in writing at least five (5) days in advance of the dates and inclusive hours of such assignment; the employee shall be compensated at one-fourth (1/4) of his or her basic hourly rate for the entire period of such assignment.

  • REPORTING AND CALL BACK TIME 11.1 Reporting time pay is contained in the Appendices attached to and forming part of this Agreement.

  • On Call Allowance (a) An employee who agrees to be on call, that is, the employee agrees to make themselves ready and available to return to work at short notice whilst off duty, shall be paid the allowance, for each period of 24 hours or part thereof, set out in Item 17 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement.
