Off-Campus Assignments. Provided no individual professor has volunteered for the assignment, assignments of Probationary or Tenured Professors to off- campus locations will be limited to one course per year. This assignment will be on a rotational basis by professors in the division and program for which the assignment is made. When a professor’s assignment includes off-campus sites, the College will pay mileage or provide a College vehicle in accordance with appropriate statutory requirements and OFM regulations. When returning to the employee’s primary campus from an off-campus assignment, reasonable accommodations for parking will be made upon request.

Off-Campus Assignments. 56:01 Where an instructor is assigned instructional duties and responsibilities off-campus such that the instructor is unable to return to his normal residence at the end of a work day and must therefore reside temporarily in another location, the instructor shall be provided reasonable notice of such assignment.

Those unit members assigned to fulfill their professional obligation (excluding overload) at an off-campus site located 10 miles in excess of the distance normally traveled by the unit member to the on-campus site to which the unit member is primarily assigned as determined by the College and who use their own vehicles for transportation will be reimbursed at the federal mileage rate for travel for the excess distance. The basis for determining travel distance will be the third-party method as set forth in Addendum D.

  • Room Assignments A. The University draws students from many states, nations, races and religions. It will be the responsibility of each resident to respect the rights of all residents in university residence halls. Admission to Texas A&M University – Texarkana and any of its sponsored programs is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. Room and roommate assignments are made without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

  • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • SUBCONTRACTS - ASSIGNMENT Contractor shall not subcontract or assign this Agreement, or any part thereof, or interest therein, directly or indirectly, voluntarily or involuntarily, to any person without obtaining the prior written consent by County. Contractor remains legally responsible for the performance of all contract terms including work performed by third parties under subcontracts. Any subcontracting will be subject to all applicable provisions of this Agreement. Contractor shall be held responsible by County for the performance of any subcontractor whether approved by County or not. Contractor hereby assigns to the County all rights, title, and interest in and to all causes of action it may have under Section 4 of the Xxxxxxx Act (15 U.S.C. Sec. 15) or under the Xxxxxxxxxx Act (Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 16700) of Part 2 of Division 7 of the Business and Professions Code), arising from the purchase if goods, materials, or services by the Contractor for sale to the County pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Overtime Assignments When needed, overtime work for full-time employees shall be scheduled among qualified employees doing similar work in the work location where the employees regularly work in accordance with the following:

  • Overload Assignments (a) An overload assignment is defined as the assignment of duties in excess of the faculty member’s full-time appointment.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Housing Assignments The University assigns Licensee to a bed space and does not guarantee specific room types, buildings, communities, or roommates. The University shall have the right to reassign the Licensee to a different bed space without the Licensee’s consent prior to or during the term of the Agreement.
