Number of Leaves Authorized. Not more than one percent of all professional staff (in both units A and B combined) shall be granted a sabbatical leave during any given academic year. Requests for sabbatical of less than a full year shall be granted only upon showing of extraordinary circumstances. The BSC reserves the right to exceed the 1% limit for extraordinary circumstances as determined by the BSC.

Number of Leaves Authorized. A. The following number of sabbaticals may be granted each school year. Two (2) sabbaticals for one-half (1/2) year at full pay. One (1) sabbatical for a full year at full pay.
