Notice of Borrowing Clause Samples

The Notice of Borrowing clause sets out the requirement for a borrower to formally notify the lender when they wish to draw funds under a loan agreement. Typically, this involves the borrower submitting a written notice specifying the amount to be borrowed, the proposed borrowing date, and sometimes the interest period or purpose of the loan. This clause ensures that the lender receives adequate advance warning to prepare the funds and verify that all conditions for disbursement are met, thereby facilitating smooth loan administration and reducing the risk of misunderstandings or delays.
