Lunch or Meal Periods. Lunch or meal periods will be uninterrupted, except in cases of emergency. Should an employee be recalled to duty during her mealtime, additional time shall be provided later in the shift. Proper facilities will be provided for employees who bring their own lunch, and locker facilities will be provided. The Employer agrees to investigate, on an individual home basis, the possibility of providing meals for employees working the night shift subject to the following conditions:

Employee requests for specific days off must be submitted to the department head one (I)week in advance of posting. Where compliance with such a request cause violation of the scheduling regulations, the request is deemed to be agreement to the violation or violations occur.
Lunch or Meal Periods a) All employees, working in the organization’s community residences, are paid for their lunch break and provided with their lunch. Each employee shall be allowed thirty (30) minutes for meals on their own time. Lunch periods shall not be interrupted except in cases of emergency. If an employee has such lunch period interrupted for an emergency, the employee shall receive the remaining time lost once the emergency situation is no longer in effect.
