Joint Consultation Committee. 8.01 On the request of either party, the parties must meet at least once every four (4) months, for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace that affect the parties or any employee bound by the Agreement.
8.02 The purpose of the consultation committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of workplace issues, to xxxxxx the development of work related skills and to promote workplace productivity, and to identify opportunities for improved patient care.
8.03 Up to two (2) employees who are members of the joint consultation committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight-time regular wages while attending meetings of the committee, up to a maximum of two (2) hours’ pay.
8.04 Pay for such meetings will be limited to two (2) hours and employees attending such meetings will not receive overtime wages.
Joint Consultation Committee. At the request of either Party, the Joint Consultation Committee shall consult during the term of this Agreement for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace (other than grievances or complaints under statutes) that affect the Parties or any Faculty Member bound by this Agreement.
Joint Consultation Committee. 20.01 A Joint Consultation Committee shall be established to consider matters of mutual interest to the Association and the Board. The Association and the Board shall each be entitled to four (4) representatives on the Committee. By mutual verbal consent in advance, each party is entitled to have additional resource persons, or alternate persons, attend meetings from time-to-time. The Joint Consultation Committee meeting shall be held bi-monthly during the school year, or at times to be mutually agreed upon.
Joint Consultation Committee. For the period of the Agreement, the Joint Consultation Committee shall be responsible for developing and recommending policy concerning the implementation of the equitable allocation of workload as described in this Agreement. The Committee shall receive and recommend to the President resolutions to written appeals submitted by Faculty Members on workload issues, and shall make recommendations about the equitable allocation of workload to the President and the Faculty Association.
Joint Consultation Committee. 5.0.1 A Joint Consultation Committee will be established to consult about issues relating to the workplace that affect the Parties or any employee bound by this Agreement.
5.0.2 The Joint Consultation Committee shall consist of up to three (3) Union representatives (including the Staff Representative or designate) and up three (3) representatives from the University.
5.0.3 The Consultation Committee will meet quarterly and at the request of either Party. The agenda will be prepared at least one (1) week in advance of each meeting.
5.0.4 The purpose of the Consultation Committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of workplace issues, to respond and adapt to changes in the economy, to xxxxxx the development of work-related skills and to promote workplace productivity.
5.0.5 The Committee will not deal with violations of the Agreement which will be dealt with through the grievance procedure (Clause 6.0).
5.0.6 When necessary and subject to the provisions of Section 54 of the Labour Relations Code, the Committee will attempt to develop an adjustment plan (see Schedule F). If the provisions of Section 54 of the Labour Relations Code are amended, the Agreement will be amended accordingly.
5.0.7 The Parties may jointly apply to the associate chair of the Mediation Division of the Labour Relations Board to appoint a facilitator to the committee to assist in developing a more cooperative relationship between the Parties.
Joint Consultation Committee. A joint consultation committee will be established and maintained in each of the permanent correctional institutions. Each committee shall consist of no more than four (4) representatives of the government and four (4) representatives of the Union which shall include the local negotiator, vice president or designate. Except by mutual agreement, this committee shall meet once each month for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern, and which either party considers appropriate for discussion by the committee.
Joint Consultation Committee a) There shall be a joint Union-Management Committee composed of two (2) representatives appointed from the Union and two (2) representatives appointed from Management. The Committee shall meet no less than once every three (3) months, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
b) The Union and the Employer are committed to a process of working together with the common goal of anticipating and resolving mutual problems and improving their day to day working relationship. The parties will also discuss the quality of resident services and make recommendations to improve the services. Responsibilities of the Committee shall be to make recommendations to the Union and Employer on matters relating to the promotion of workplace productivity, development of work related skills and the maintenance of good relations between the parties.
c) Employees attending joint Union-Management Committee meetings shall suffer no loss of wages or benefits, or be paid wages at straight-time only.
Joint Consultation Committee. (FPT, RPT)
17.1 The Union and the Employer agree that consultation and communication on matters of joint interest are desirable to promote constructive and harmonious relations.
17.2.1 The parties agree that a joint consultation committee composed of up to four (4) representatives from the Union and up to four (4) representatives of the Employer, shall be used as a forum for consultation on changes in conditions of employment not governed by this Central Collective Agreement and on other matters of mutual interest.
17.2.2 The committee shall meet once every two (2) months, or more frequently, with the consent of the parties.
Joint Consultation Committee. (a) There shall be established for the life of this Agreement a Joint Consultation Committee composed of two Commission representatives and two Association representatives. In addition, there shall be an alternate representing each party.
(b) Of the two representatives representing each party, one shall be a co-chairperson and another alternate co-chairperson. The Commission co-chairperson and the Association co-chairperson shall alternate in presiding over meetings. The Committee may call upon additional persons for technical information or advice. The Committee may also establish ad hoc sub-committees as it deems necessary and shall set guidelines and operating procedures for such sub-committees.
(c) Employees who are appointed to the Joint Consultation Committee shall not suffer any loss of pay for time spent working as members of this committee
(d) All decisions, including (b) above, of the Committee shall be by unanimous vote.
(e) The Committee shall meet at the call of either party at a mutually agreeable time and place. The quorum for a meeting shall be one Commission representative and one Association representative. Should there be unequal representation at a meeting, then only equal numbers representing each party shall be permitted to vote.
Joint Consultation Committee. 7.1 The Trust and the trade unions agree to establish a Joint Consultation Committee (JCC) consisting of representatives or Officials of both sides.
7.2 The JCC shall be governed by a written constitution, a copy of which is attached to this Agreement (Appendix 1).
