In-District Training. One (1) working day shall be set at the first available date for training regarding any new or changed forms, procedures, new software and software updates to be implemented in the coming year.
In-District Training. The parties agree to establish a five (5) member committee, consisting of three (3) members of the bargaining unit and two (2) members of the Administration to discuss and make recommendations concerning training programs that affect the memberswork place, and any specialized assignment-specific training for non-certified aides, bus drivers and bus monitors that may be necessary to prepare for students assigned to their care. The Committee may also conduct workshops with respect to procedures and related matters and participate in a new employee orientation program. The parties expressly agree that the Committee shall serve only in an advisory capacity, with the Administration retaining final authority with respect to training, product usage and all recommendations and other pertinent information coming out of the work of the Committee. The parties expressly agree that the work of this Committee is not collective bargaining, and any agreement and/or recommendations resulting from the Committee’s work will not be subject to the grievance and arbitration provisions of the current collective bargaining agreement of the parties.

  • Technical Training 3.1 Party A agrees hereby to provide the following training service to party B and its staffs:

  • General Training 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.

  • Medical Examination Where the Employer requires an employee to submit to a medical examination or medical interview, it shall be at the Employer's expense and on the Employer's time.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.

  • Inpatient In accordance with Rhode Island General Law §27-20-17.1, this agreement covers a minimum inpatient hospital stay of forty- eight (48) hours from the time of a vaginal delivery and ninety-six (96) hours from the time of a cesarean delivery: • If the delivery occurs in a hospital, the hospital length of stay for the mother or newborn child begins at the time of delivery (or in the case of multiple births, at the time of the last delivery). • If the delivery occurs outside a hospital, the hospital length of stay begins at the time the mother or newborn is admitted as a hospital in connection with childbirth. Any decision to shorten these stays shall be made by the attending physician in consultation with and upon agreement with you. In those instances where you and your infant participate in an early discharge, you will be eligible for: • up to two (2) home care visits by a skilled, specially trained registered nurse for you and/or your infant, (any additional visits must be reviewed for medical necessity); and • a pediatric office visit within twenty-four (24) hours after discharge. See Section 3.23 - Office Visits for coverage of home and office visits. We cover hospital services provided to you and your newborn child. Your newborn child is covered for services required to treat injury or sickness. This includes the necessary care and treatment of medically diagnosed congenital defects and birth abnormalities as well as routine well-baby care.

  • Eye Examinations For all covered employees required to use VDTs on average at least two (2) hours per day, MUNI will provide a base line eye examination at the Occupational Safety and Health facility ("OSH"), followed by an eye examination at OSH every two years.

  • Classroom Visitation To provide patrons of the District the opportunity to visit classrooms with the least interruption to the teaching process, the following guidelines are set forth:
