Stipends. Bargaining unit members may qualify for stipends for advanced degrees which are "in-field." Employees who held out-of-field stipends on the date of contract ratification by the BTU for the 1994-95 school year shall be allowed to continue to receive said stipends until they leave the employment of the District.
Stipends. 2.2.1 LRCFT and District representatives shall meet as needed to discuss the possible addition, modification or deletion of stipends or stipend categories. Such review shall consider the modification to or the development of criteria and work requirements expected for the stipend payment as well as the funding source for any additional cost.

Such stipends are taxable income and shall be counted as income when calculating member benefits that are based upon income. In consideration of the foregoing, every Department Chair shall be paid a stipend for each academic semester in the following amount; provided, however, that any member of the bargaining unit who, in respect of any academic semester, shall serve as Department Chair for less than the whole thereof shall be paid a pro ration of such stipend for such academic semester: Effective Date Stipend per Semester July 1, 2017 $2,754 July 1, 2018 $2,809 July 1, 2019 $2,865 The cost at each University of all stipends required to be paid to Department Chairs in each fiscal year pursuant to this Section G shall be paid from moneys other than those that are (a) pooled for the purpose of paying salary increases or bonuses to members of the bargaining unit pursuant to Article XIII of this Agreement or (b) pooled for the purpose of supporting professional development for members of the bargaining unit pursuant to Article XIV of this Agreement.

Stipends. A stipend of $10.00 per hour shall be paid to teachers participating in required in- service programs scheduled at times other than regular duty hours except as stipulated in Article VI E 3.

Where no stipend is stipulated, the University shall consult with the Faculty Association to determine an appropriate compensation.
