Initial Training definition
Initial Training. ’ means training required prior to beginning work.

Initial Training means board-approved training provided to individuals not already certified by this board in any category or as a firesafety inspector, and providing an alternative to the typical prerequisite experience/education.
Examples of Initial Training in a sentence
The Complete End-User Training will be conducted over up to 2 of the Initial Training days, with a maximum of two (2) classes per day (for a total of up to 4 classes).
For 1 of the Initial Training days, which includes a maximum of eight (8) hours per day, the GUARDIAN RFID Trainers will be on the Customer’s premises to provide support to the Authorized Customer Personnel by answering on-the-job questions that arise and reinforcing skills covered during the Complete End-User Training (the “Go-Live Support”).
Within thirty working days of ratification of this Agreement, the Initial Training Program for 9139 new hires, shall be referred to the Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC) as outlined in Section II.G on this Agreement.
More Definitions of Initial Training
Initial Training means the provision of departmental knowledge and task‐specific training unique to the job that is required for new employees to integrate into and succeed in the position. Initial training should be completed in the first month of employment.
