holidays observed by the Employer. All Regular full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive holiday pay after completion of the probationary period. Regular full-time employees will receive 8 hours of holiday pay at their normal rate of pay. Holiday pay will be pro- rated for regular part-time employees. If a Regular employee is required to work on the holiday, and the time has been preapproved by his/her supervisor, the employee will receive his/her normal holiday pay plus he/she will be compensated at his/her regular rate of pay for any hours worked on the holiday. Employees must work their scheduled workday before and after the holiday in order to be paid for the holiday, unless they are absent with prior approval from their manager. Employees’ PTO will not be deducted for any holiday that falls during their scheduled PTO usage. Holidays will not be paid to employees on an unpaid leave of absence.
