Flexible Work Year. The contractual work year may be reduced when agreed to by 18 the teacher and supervisor. The work year for instructional 20 personnel scheduled to work longer than 196 days may be adjusted to accommodate instructional 21 or student needs. Such adjustments shall be determined ten (10) days prior to the last day of the 22 student year for the following school year, set forth in a written document and signed and dated by 23 the teacher and principal/supervisor and retained at the school/department. The days shall be 24 determined in consultation with the teacher; however, the final decision shall be made by the 25 principal/supervisor to ensure adequate staffing throughout the year.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.
