Fire Investigation Services. The following terms and conditions shall apply with 189 regards to those Fire Investigation services outlined on Exhibit A: 190 12.1 The Authority will coordinate arson investigation activities with the City Police 191 Department as necessary. The City may issue a limited commission to investigators to allow 192 for sharing of privileged information or other activities approved by the City Police Chief.

Fire Investigation Services. 1. CCCFPD will provide all aspects of fire investigation services, including investigating fire cause and origin, conducting follow-up interviews, collecting and retaining evidence, report writing and filing, and assisting law enforcement agencies in providing information necessary for of arrests, warrant preparation, and criminal prosecution (“Fire Investigation Services”).
Fire Investigation Services. No later than April 1 of each year, CCCFPD shall submit invoices to ECCFPD identifying the Fire Investigation Services performed and the charges incurred for the preceding 12 month period pursuant to the payment provisions set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Fire Investigation Services a. CCCFPD will charge ECCFPD a flat rate of $150.00 per hour for providing Fire Investigation Services. The number of hours billed for investigating an incident will be calculated as beginning at the time ECCFPD requests a fire investigator and ending at the completion of the incident. Additional fire investigator time needed for report writing, evidence collection and storage, follow-ups, interviews, meetings, and other post-investigation work is part of Fire Investigation Services and will accordingly be charged at a flat rate of $150.00 per hour. Fire Investigation Services are charged in one-half (½) hour increments. For after- hours requests where CCCFPD incurs overtime costs beginning at the time of request, ECCFPD will be charged a minimum of two (2) hours for Fire Investigation Services even if the fire investigator spends less than two (2) hours on the incident.
Fire Investigation Services. Funding Less Than Countywide Tax $507,861 The 2008-2009 Fire Investigation action plan assumes that the funding level from Less Than Countywide Tax will continue at expected levels with the addition of a 4% cost of living increase. This funding will allow the Modesto Fire Department to continue providing the same level of service while meeting the following objectives: • Determine origin and cause of fires in compliance with NFPA 921 guidelines. • Provide documentation and assistance to law enforcement agencies for follow up of criminal fire investigations. • Provide documentation and assistance to District Attorney’s office regarding criminal fire investigations. • Provide documentation and assistance to private fire investigators and insurance industry representatives regarding civil fire investigations. • Establish an effective training program for chief and company officers to conduct preliminary fire investigations and initial origin and cause determinations following NFPA 921 guidelines. • Establish effective lines of communications with other agencies to promote information sharing. • Provide training for fire investigation staff to increase their skills and proficiency in the field of fire investigation. • Continue to provide a monthly report to the Fire Authority that outlines the number of fires investigated, case status, dollar loss, and number of arrests by jurisdiction. • Actively participate in the Stanislaus County Arson Task Force. 2008-2009

  • Investigational Services This plan covers certain experimental or investigational services as described in this section. Clinical Trials This plan covers clinical trials as required under R.I. General Law § 27-20-60. An approved clinical trial is a phase I, phase II, phase III, or phase IV clinical trial that is being performed to prevent, detect or treat cancer or a life-threatening disease or condition. In order to qualify, the clinical trial must be: • federally funded; • conducted under an investigational new drug application reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); or • a drug trial that is exempt from having such an investigational new drug application. To qualify to participate in a clinical trial: • you must be determined to be eligible, according to the trial protocol; • a network provider must have concluded that your participation would be appropriate; and • medical and scientific information must have been provided establishing that your participation in the clinical trial would be appropriate. If a network provider is participating in a clinical trial, and the trial is being conducted in the state in which you reside, you may be required to participate in the trial through the network provider. Coverage under this plan includes routine patient costs for covered healthcare services furnished in connection with participation in a clinical trial. The amount you pay is based on the type of service you receive. Coverage for clinical trials does not include: • the investigational item, device, or service itself; • items or services provided solely to satisfy data collection and that are not used in the direct clinical management; or • a service that is clearly inconsistent with widely accepted standards of care.

  • Acquisition Services (i) Serve as the Company’s investment and financial advisor and provide relevant market research and economic and statistical data in connection with the Company’s assets and investment objectives and policies;

  • Information Services The Custodian may rely upon information received from issuers of Securities or agents of such issuers, information received from Subcustodians or depositories, information from data reporting services that provide detail on corporate actions and other securities information, and other commercially reasonable industry sources; and, provided the Custodian has acted in accordance with the standard of care set forth in Section 6 (a), the Custodian shall have no liability as a result of relying upon such information sources, including but not limited to errors in any such information.

  • Observation Services This plan covers services provided to you when you are in a hospital or other licensed health care facility solely for observation. Even though you may use a bed or stay overnight, observation services are not inpatient services. These observation services may be provided in the emergency room or another area of the hospital or licensed healthcare facility. See the Summary of Medical Benefits for the amount you pay.
