Electrical Plant Systems. 3.2.1 Contractor shall provide technical services and onsite support for the inspection, troubleshooting, remediation, cleaning, repair, testing, and modernization of the Electric Plant. The Electric plant consists of power generation, power distribution, power conversion, protection and controls, and associated auxiliary equipment necessary to sustain the Electric plant and its functions. This includes components such as Switchboards and Circuit breakers, Load Centers, Power Panels, Motor Controllers, Protective relays, lighting, Power Conversion Equipment, Electric Plant control equipment, UPS, cooling and lubrication systems directly supporting the Electric Plant and its components and associated controls systems identified within this SOW. This will include: • Cleaning of switchboard and electrical components using approved methods such as dry ice, vacuuming and hand cleaning. • Repair, refurbishment and replacement of equipment identified in Section 1.2. • Removal, repair and installation of circuit breakers. • Repair and installation of busbars, cables, and other distribution system components. • Restoration and repair of switchboards, load centers, and all affected electrical supplies, subsystems, and components due to arc fault, fire, and other causes. • Removal and restoration of interferences as required to support tasks defined herein. • Removal, repair, testing and installation of auxiliary components such as pumps, coolers, and bearings. • Removal, repair, testing and installation of controllers and control system components, • Inspection and Testing of systems identified within this SOW. • Grooming of systems identified within this SOW. • Producing reports of findings, trip reports and recommendations. • Infrared surveying of electrical components and connections.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins.

  • Irrigation Systems The Project Area either has no irrigation system or a low-volume drip irrigation system. If a watering system is used, it is a drip irrigation system equipped with a filter, pressure regulator and emitters rated at twenty (20) gallons per hour (gph) or less. The system is maintained free of leaks and malfunctions. No spray irrigation is applied to the Project Area, including spray from irrigation systems adjacent to the Project Area.

  • Electrical Power CUSTOMER acknowledges that the Services will not function in the absence of electrical power.

  • Electrical Provide drawings for the following systems:

  • Plant The expression ‘Plant’ as used in the tender papers shall mean every temporary accessory necessary or considered necessary by the Engineer to execute, construct, complete and maintain the work and all altered, modified, substituted and additional works ordered in the time and the manner herein provided and all temporary materials and special and other articles and appliance of every sort kind and description whatsoever intended or used therefore.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Interconnection Facilities 4.1.1 The Interconnection Customer shall pay for the cost of the Interconnection Facilities itemized in Attachment 2 of this Agreement. The NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall provide a best estimate cost, including overheads, for the purchase and construction of its Interconnection Facilities and provide a detailed itemization of such costs. Costs associated with Interconnection Facilities may be shared with other entities that may benefit from such facilities by agreement of the Interconnection Customer, such other entities, the NYISO, and the Connecting Transmission Owner.
