Doctoral Stipend. An annual stipend of Three Hundred Dollars ($300) shall be paid to unit members who possess an earned doctorate in the field of education upon approval by the Professional Advancement Committee.
Doctoral Stipend. Eligible employees shall receive an annual stipend of $1,707 for completion of an approved Ed.D. or Ph.D. program. The doctoral stipend shall be increased by the same percent as that applied to the salary schedule.
Doctoral Stipend. Any current teaching staff member holding a doctoral degree from an approved and accredited program will receive $1,500 per year. Any teacher at MA-60 in an approved and accredited doctoral program will receive $1,500 for 18 credits beyond MA-60. They will receive an additional $1,500 per year upon completion of the doctoral program. Credit for doctoral degrees held by newly-hired staff members will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
Doctoral Stipend. Adjunct faculty who have an earned doctorate on or before May 31, 2021 shall receive a per semester (Fall, Spring and Summer) stipend of three hundred dollars ($300). Adjuncts must submit transcripts and academic records establishing that they have been awarded an earned doctorate from a regionally or nationally accredited institution, no later than September 30th for reimbursement for Fall semester teaching and February 1st for reimbursement for Spring semester or Summer session teaching. The earned doctorate stipend will be paid during the middle of each semester (Fall, Spring and Summer) and is generated from documentation on file in the Human Resources Department.
Doctoral Stipend. 5.1 A member of the ALA with an earned doctorate received from a fully accredited institution shall receive the doctoral bonus provided full-time faculty members. The institution must have been accredited for at least five years prior to the time the doctorate was earned and received. A fully accredited institution is an institution of higher education accredited by a United States recognized regional accrediting association or the Committee of State Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California or the American Medical Association (AMA).
Doctoral Stipend. Effective July 1, 2014, unit members holding an earned doctorate degree shall receive stipend of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) year paid in equal increments monthly during the regular school year. The doctoral degree shall be subject to the requirements enumerated in Section A.5. of this Article IX, Compensation. Unit members receiving an earned doctorate after July 1, 2014, shall receive the above stipend in accordance with Section E of this Article IX, Compensation.
Doctoral Stipend. An Administrator who has attained a doctoral degree (a Ph.D. or Ed.D. from an accredited college or university) shall receive an annual stipend of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00).
Doctoral Stipend. Effective from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, an Administrator with an earned doctorate degreee in the field of education, who has provided proof of such degree acceptable to the Superintendent, shall be provided with a one-time doctoral stipend in the amount of $1,000, which shall not be cumulative. Effective July 1, 2013 and thereafter, an Administrator with an earned doctoral degree in the field of education, who has provided proof of such degree acceptable to the Superintendent, shall be provided with an annual doctoral stipend of $2,000, which shall not be cumulative.
Doctoral Stipend. Any member of the Teachers Bargaining Unit who holds a Doctorate approved by the Superintendent will receive one thousand one hundred ninety-eight dollars ($1198) in addition to their schedule salary and adjustments in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.
Doctoral Stipend. Administrators that complete an approved doctoral degree program and are conferred a doctorate shall be eligible to receive and annual stipend of $2,500. This stipend shall be payable beginning July 1st of the year immediately following the conferral of the doctoral degree.
