Development Day. The Union shall submit a written record and general accounting of funds to the Board annually on or before June 30th.
Development Day. There will the equivalent of up to one day for job related Professional Development activities, at no expense to the Board. All probationary and permanent Members and those temporary and casual Members working in long term assignments may participate in this day. The President of the Bargaining Unit, the Manager, Human Resources and a representative from the Staff Development Department will meet each year during the month of September to determine the appropriate date( for the Professional Development Day.
Development Day. One day per school year, with pay if the employee is scheduled to work, shall be provided for the purpose of conducting a staff devel- opment program for all members of the bargaining unit. Select ion of the date and content of the program for the Staff Development Day shall be by mutual agreement between the Union and the Board.
Development Day. 7.3.1 The Chief Executive shall prescribe one day per year as a Development Day, not being a public holiday, Saturday or a Sunday. This day will usually be the day after Boxing Day. Staff who are employed on a part time basis will be entitled to a Development Day only where it falls on a day that they normally work. Casual staff are not entitled to such holidays. Staff may be required to work on a Development Day, provided they would normally work on that day. Staff who actually work on such a day are entitled to another whole holiday on pay to be taken within 6 months on a day mutually agreed.
