DEMONSTRATION OF COMPETENCY. Bidders must be able to demonstrate a good record of performance for a reasonable period of time, and have sufficient financial support, equipment and organization to ensure they can satisfactorily execute the services if awarded a contract under the terms and conditions herein stated.
DEMONSTRATION OF COMPETENCY. 3.26.1 Pre-award inspection of the Proposer’s facility may be made prior to the award of contract. Bids shall only be considered from firms, which are regularly engaged in the business of providing the goods and/or services as described in this Bid. Proposers shall be able to demonstrate a good record of performance for a reasonable period of time, and have sufficient financial support, equipment and organization to insure that they can satisfactorily execute the services if awarded a contract under the terms and conditions herein stated. The terms “equipment and organization” as used herein shall be construed to mean a fully equipped and well-established company in line with the best business practices in the industry and as determined by the City. 3.26.2 The City shall consider any available evidence regarding the financial and technical qualifications and abilities of a Proposer as well as past performance (experience) with the City and any and all other evidence the City deems pertinent in making the award in the best interest of the City. 3.26.3 The City may require Proposers to show proof that they have been designated as authorized representatives of a manufacturer or supplier, which is the actual source of supply. In these instances, the City may also require material information from the source of supply regarding the quality, packaging, and characteristics of the products to be supplied to the City through the designated representative. Any conflicts between this material information provided by the source of supply and the information contained in the Proposer’s Bid may render the Bid non-responsive. 3.26.4 The City may, during the term of the Contract between the City and the Contractor is in force, review the Contractor’s record of performance to insure that the Proposer is continuing to provide sufficient financial support, equipment and organization as prescribed in this Solicitation. Irrespective of the Contractor’s performance on contracts awarded to it by the City, the City may place said contracts on probationary status and implement termination procedures if the City determines that the Contractor no longer possesses the financial support, equipment and organization which would have been necessary during the term of the Contract in order to comply with this demonstration of competency section.

Bidders must be able to demonstrate a satisfactory record of performance for a reasonable period of time per VSA’s discretion, and have sufficient financial support, Heavy Equipment and organization to ensure they can adequately execute the services if awarded a Contract under the terms and conditions herein stated.
DEMONSTRATION OF COMPETENCY. Bids will only be accepted for evaluation, recommendation or award from entities which are able to satisfy the following criteria: The County may conduct a pre-award inspection of the bidder’s site and/or hold a pre-award award investigation or hearing to determine if the bidder possesses the abilities, experience, inventory, plant and equipment, technical abilities, organization, delivery and service equipment if required, financial resources or physical and financial investments necessary at the time of the bid opening, to perform the activities proposed in a manner consistent with the best commercial practices in the bidder’s industry. The bidder must also be able to document their qualifications and abilities, including but not limited to an established record of performance in the business activity proposed, so as to ensure that they can satisfactorily provide the goods and/or services required in a manner consistent with the best commercial practices of that industry if they are awarded this solicitation.
DEMONSTRATION OF COMPETENCY. In accordance with EPA directive FEM 2012-02 Rev. 1, “Policy to Assure the Competency of Organizations Generating Environmental Measurement Data Under Agency-Funded Assistance Agreements,” if the Work performed by the Performing Party or any of its subcontractors under this Contract includes generating or using environmental data through sample collection, field measurements and/or laboratory analysis, then it must document and maintain certification demonstrating the competency of individuals using or generating environmental data under this Contract. Certification may include training records, certificates, or educational credentials.

  • Cultural Competency 1. All program staff shall receive at least one (1) in-service training per year on some aspect of providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide County with a schedule of in-service training(s) and a list of participants at each such training. 2. Contractor shall use good faith efforts to translate health-related materials in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide to County copies of Contractor’s health-related materials in English and as translated. 3. Contractor shall use good faith efforts to hire clinical staff members who can communicate with clients in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall submit to County the cultural composition and linguistic fluencies of Contractor’s staff.

  • Certification of Compliance The Recipient shall complete and submit the following Notice of Completion and, if applicable, Engineer’s Certification of Compliance to the Department upon completion of the construction phase of the Project.

  • Cultural Competence 1. Grantee will make reasonable efforts to provide services that meet each client’s individual needs and takes into consideration the intellectual functioning, literacy, level of education and comprehension ability of each client in order to ensure that all information is presented in a way that meets each client’s individual needs. 2. Grantee will provide services in the client's primary language either directly by Grantee or by a DFPS approved translator. 3. Grantee will have a cultural competence mission statement, core values or other similar guidance that provides how the Grantee will effectively provide these services to clients of various cultures, races, ethnic backgrounds and religions in a manner that recognizes and affirms the client’s worth, protects and preserves the client’s dignity and ensures equity of service delivery.

  • Competency Competency involves application of knowledge and skills to a limited range of tasks and roles. There is a specific range of contexts where the choice of actions is clear. The competencies are normally used within established routines, methods and procedures that are predictable. Judgments against established criteria may also be required.

  • Independence from Material Breach Determination Except as set forth in Section X.D.1.c, these provisions for payment of Stipulated Penalties shall not affect or otherwise set a standard for OIG’s decision that RMC has materially breached this CIA, which decision shall be made at OIG’s discretion and shall be governed by the provisions in Section X.D, below.
