Contractor Safety Manual. Company has developed and adopted a manual describing the rules, safe work practices, and procedures that Contractor and Contractor Parties must follow and comply with when performing Work on behalf of Company or on Company Property (“Contractor Safety Manual”). The Contractor Safety Manual is available to view or download on Contractor’s ISN Bulletin Board, accessible at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx/BulletinBoard/asBulletinBoard.aspx. No later than ten (10) days after the Effective Date, at least once every year thereafter (no later than December 1 of each such year), and no later than thirty (30) days after receiving notification of a change to the Contractor Safety Manual, Contractor and any Contractor Party classified as a Class 1 Contractor shall sign the last page of the Contractor Safety Manual stating that Contractor and such Contractor Party has read and understands the requirements set forth therein, and upload such signed document into ISN. Duplicates are not necessary if there is already a signed and active Contractor Safety Manual acknowledgment on file. Contractor shall review the Pre-Work Safety Meeting Notification and Acknowledgement provided by Company at the time of contracting (Exhibit B of the Contractor Safety Manual), sign the form, and post it on its ISN Bulletin Board before the commencement of Services.

Contractor Safety Manual. Supplier shall confine all equipment, apparatus, materials and operations to limits indicated by the proper representative of Stryker, and Supplier shall not unnecessarily encumber the premises with materials. Supplier shall strictly comply with all of Stryker's work and safety rules set forth in Stryker's Contractor Safety Manual, as the same may be updated and amended by Stryker from time to time. Supplier shall also ensure that any subcontractors retained by Supplier to perform under this Agreement on Stryker's premises shall strictly comply with all of Stryker's work and safety rules set forth in Stryker's Contractor Safety Manual, as the same may be updated and amended by Stryker from time to time. By requiring compliance therewith, Stryker does not assume, abrogate or undertake to discharge any duty or responsibility of Supplier to its employees and its subcontractor's employees or other persons.

  • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.

  • Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act The following clauses apply to any Federal-aid construction contract in an amount in excess of $100,000 and subject to the overtime provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. These clauses shall be inserted in addition to the clauses required by 29 CFR 5.5(a) or 29 CFR 4.6. As used in this paragraph, the terms laborers and mechanics include watchmen and guards.

  • Contractor Standards Contractor shall comply with Contractor Standards provisions codified in the SDMC. Contractor understands and agrees that violation of Contractor Standards may be considered a material breach of the Contract and may result in Contract termination, debarment, and other sanctions.

  • Safety Rules 5.01 The safety rules of the State having jurisdiction shall be observed by the parties hereto. It is recognized that the Employer has the exclusive responsibility for providing a safe and healthful workplace. To assist the Employer in maintaining an effective and continuing safety program, a permanent Joint Safety Committee shall be established, consisting of two (2) members from the Union and two (2) members from the Employers, who shall meet at regular times to administer educational instructions, investigate serious accidents, and to draft appropriate safety rules. Such rules as adopted by this committee, shall become a part of this Agreement.

  • Health and Safety Plan 5. Xxxxxx shall prepare and submit under separate cover from the Work Plan, a Health and Safety Plan consistent with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes. The Department expressly disclaims any liability that may result from implementation of the Health and Safety Plan by Xxxxxx. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

  • Work Health and Safety (a) The employer and employee acknowledge their responsibilities under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012.

  • Prescription Safety Glasses Prescription safety glasses will be furnished by the employer.   • Project Implementation Manual The Recipient, through the PCU, shall: (i) take all action required to carry out Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4 (ii) of the Project in accordance with the provisions and requirements set forth or referred to in the Project Implementation Manual; (ii) submit recommendations to the Association for its consideration for changes and updates of the Project Implementation Manual as they may become necessary or advisable during Project implementation in order to achieve the objective of Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project; and (iii) not assign, amend, abrogate or waive the Project Implementation Manual or any of its provisions without the Association’s prior agreement.
