Construction Wage Rate Requirements. To the extent that any ancillary labor for construction, alteration and repair are within the scope of OASIS and subject to the construction wage rate requirements in accordance with FAR Subpart 22.4 and other applicable agency specific regulatory supplements, the OCO must identify such work in the task order solicitation and make a determination as to whether wage determinations are to be applied or not. OASIS does not include clauses applicable to any construction, alteration, or repair work that is part of a total solution within the scope of OASIS. The OCO must incorporate the appropriate clauses and provisions in each task order solicitation and subsequent award when construction wage rate requirements apply.

Construction Wage Rate Requirements. When labor for construction, alteration and repair are within the scope of the master contract and task order, construction wage rate requirements must be implemented in accordance with FAR Subpart 22.4 and other applicable regulatory supplements, as applicable. The OCO must identify such work in the task order solicitation and make a determination as to whether wage determinations are to be applied or not. The Department of Labor is responsible for issuing wage determinations reflecting prevailing wages, including fringe benefits. Determinations are issued for different types of construction, such as building, heavy, highway, and residential (referred to as rate schedules), and apply only to the types of construction designated in the determination. The master contract may not include a complete list of clauses or provisions that flow down to the task order level requirements. The OCO must incorporate all the appropriate clauses and provisions in each task order solicitation and subsequent award when construction, alteration and repairs are within the scope of the master contract and task order requirement. When applicable, the OCO must incorporate wage determinations subject to construction wage rate requirements in the task order award.

  • Overtime requirements No contractor or subcontractor contracting for any part of the contract work which may require or involve the employment of laborers or mechanics shall require or permit any such laborer or mechanic in any workweek in which he or she is employed on such work to work in excess of forty hours in such workweek unless such laborer or mechanic receives compensation at a rate not less than one and one-half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in such workweek.
