Site of the work is defined as follows:
Site of the work. (a) Means—
Site of the work means the location or locations on the Site where the Work is to be performed;

  • The tenderer must obtain for himself on his own responsibility and at his own expenses all the information which may be necessary for the purpose of making a Tender and for entering into a Contract and must examine the Drawings and must inspect the Site of the work and acquaint himself with all local conditions, means of access to the work, nature of the work and all matters appertaining thereto.

  • The tenderer must obtain all the information which may be necessary for the purpose of tendering for himself, on his own responsibility and at his own expenses and for entering into a Contract must inspect the Site of the work and all matters pertaining thereto, regarding supplying, fabricating and erecting at Site without any damage to the existing property of the Client’s or their neighbours, if any.

Site of the work means a federal-aid highway construction project and any tool yard, fabrication plant, job headquarters, material or supply source (e.g., borrow pit, stockpile site, concrete or asphalt batch plant site), etc., that is:
Site of the work means the physical place(s) where the work called for in the Contract will remain when work is completed, and any other site where a significant portion of the work is constructed; provided that such site is established specifically for the performance of the Contract or Project.

Related to Site of the work

  • Cost of the Work means those costs described in Paragraph 11.2.

  • Excavation work means the making of any man-made cavity, trench, pit or depression formed by cutting, digging or scooping;

  • The Work means each and every activity required for the successful performance of the services described in Section II, the Terms of Reference.

  • Construction Activities means the disturbance of soils associated with clearing, grading, excavation activities or other construction-related activities.

  • Project Work means the work required to complete the Project.

  • Work Site means the site where the Work is being performed.

  • Construction activity means any clearing, grading or excavation associated with large construction activity or associated with small construction activity.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Work area means a room or defined space in a workplace where hazardous chemicals are produced or used, and where employees are present.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Digital audio-visual work means a series of related images which, when shown in succession, imparts an impression of motion, together with accompanying sounds, if any.

  • Installation Work means the construction and installation of the System and the Start-up, testing and acceptance (but not the operation and maintenance) thereof; all performed by or for the Power Producer at the Premises.

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Home improvement contractor or "contractor" means a person who sells goods and services, or agrees to furnish or render services, to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement installment contract, or sells goods and services to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement charge agreement, but not in connection with construction of new homes.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Construction Works means all works and things necessary to complete the Project Facilities in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Project Site(s) means the place(s) specified in the SCC for the supply and installation of the System.

  • Site / Work place means the lands and other spaces above & below the ground level on which the works are to be carried out, any other lands or places provided by the Owner for the purpose of the Contract.

  • Development Site means any parcel or lot on which exists or which is intended for building development other than the following:

  • construction site means a workplace where construction work is being performed;

  • DAY WORK means on item of work requiring the employment of labour with or without materials as the case may be, which, in the opinion of the Senior Engineer /Civil-in-charge, is not capable of being evaluated by the accepted methods of measurement or assessment and is paid for on the basis of the actual labour and materials utilised on the particular item of work referred to.
