Application From Absent Employees. The Employer agrees that employees who will be absent from the workplace for more than seven days, but not more than 30 calendar days shall be permitted to file a written notice that they wish to be considered for specific regular positions that become available during their absence. The Employer will consider such employees to be applicants for positions previously identified by the employee that become available during the employee's absence.
