Annual Base Salaries and Straight Time Hourly Rate of Pay. Effective December 1, 2013, and for the term of this Agreement, employees in the bargaining unit shall received wages pursuant to Exhibit D which is attached hereto. Exhibit D sets forth the annual base salaries and has annual increases consisting of two and one-half percent (2.5%) to the annual base salary of each employee in the bargaining unit commencing December 1, 2013, two and one-half percent (2.5%) to the annual base salary of each employee commencing December 1, 2014 and two and one-half percent (2.5%) to the annual base salary of each employee commencing December 1, 2015. By agreement of the parties, employees will not receive merit bonuses as provided in previous agreements. If any agency or entity requires that any salary increase include a merit bonus salary component, then the parties agree to reopen this Agreement to renegotiate the terms and conditions of this Section. Notwithstanding the annual base salaries set forth on Exhibit D, employees shall be paid for each hour worked based on a straight time hourly rate of pay calculated by dividing the employee’s annual base salary by the annual hours of work. The annual hours of work used to compute the regular straight-time hourly rate of pay shall be 1950 hours and each employee’s straight-time hourly rate of pay will be recalculated each time the employee receives an annual increase.

  • Annual Base Salary During the Term, the Executive shall receive a base salary at an initial rate of $550,000 per annum, which shall be paid in accordance with the customary payroll practices of the Company, subject to review annually for possible increase, but not decrease, in the Board’s discretion (the “Annual Base Salary”).

  • Rate of Compensation In lieu of direct compensation for all overtime, shift work and standby (as defined in Articles 16, 17 and 18 of this Agreement), regular full-time employees shall receive a special compensation of 7% of their basic salary earned for each calendar year. This special compensation shall not be considered part of the employee's basic salary for the purpose of calculating any benefits or other premium entitlements.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 126. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time- and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime as provided for elsewhere in this contract. 127. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Base Compensation a. The Company and the Bank agree to pay Executive during the term of this Agreement a base salary at the rate of $ per year, payable in accordance with customary payroll practices.
