Work for Hire. All services provided under this contract are considered work for hire and as such all data, basic sketches, charts, calculations, plans, specifications, and other documents created or collected under the terms of this contract are the property of the State.

Work for Hire. It is the intention of the parties that all rights, including, without limitation, copyright in any reports, surveys, marketing, promotional, and collateral materials prepared by Consultant in connection with his or her services performed for the Corporation (the "Work") shall vest in the Corporation. The parties expressly acknowledge that the Work was specially ordered or commissioned by the Corporation, and further agree that it shall be considered a "work made for hire" within the meaning of the copyright laws of the United States, and that the Corporation is entitled as author to the copyright and all of the rights to the Work, throughout the world, including, but not limited to, the right to make such changes in the Work and such uses of the Work, as the Corporation may determine in its sole and absolute discretion.
Work for Hire. All original designs, plans, specifications, reports, documentation, and other informational materials, whether written or readable by machine, originated or prepared exclusively for the City pursuant to this Agreement (Deliverable Materials) is “work for hire” under the United States Copyright law and shall become the sole property of the City and shall be delivered to the City upon request. The Contractor, including its employees, and independent Subcontractor(s), shall not assert any common law or statutory patent, copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual proprietary right to the City to the Deliverable Materials.
Work for Hire. The Executive agrees that all marketing, operating and training ideas, sourcing data, processes and materials, including all inventions, discoveries, improvements, enhancements, written materials and development related to the business of the Company (“Proprietary Materials”) to which the Executive may have access or that the Executive may develop or conceive while employed by the Company shall be considered works made for hire for the Company and prepared within the scope of employment and shall belong exclusively to the Company. Any Proprietary Materials developed by the Executive that, under applicable law, may not be considered works made for hire, are hereby assigned to the Company without the need for any further consideration, and the Executive agrees to take such further action, including executing such instruments and documents as the Company may reasonably request, to evidence such assignment.
Work for Hire. The Employee agrees that any work, invention, idea or report that he produces or that results from or is suggested by the work the Employee does on behalf of the Company or any of the Company Affiliates is “work for hire” (hereinafter referred to as “Work”) and will be the sole property of the Company. The Employee agrees to sign any documents, during or after employment that the Company deems necessary to confirm its ownership of the Work, and the Employee agrees to cooperate with the Company to allow the Company to take advantage of its ownership of such Work.
Work for Hire. Subject to Section 1(d), Employee expressly acknowledges that all copyrightable aspects of the Inventions are to be considered “works made for hire” within the meaning of the Copyright Act of 1976, as amended (the “Act”), and that Employer is to be the “author” within the meaning of such Act for all purposes. All such copyrightable works, as well as all copies of such works in whatever medium fixed or embodied, shall be owned exclusively by Employer as of its creation, and Employee hereby expressly disclaims any and all interest in any of such copyrightable works and waives any right of droit morale or similar rights.
Work for Hire. Employee agrees that any ideas, concepts, discoveries, techniques, patents, copyrights, trademarks or computer programs relating to the business or operations of the Company and its Related Entities which are developed or discovered by Employee, solely or jointly with others, during the Employment Period, shall be deemed to have been made within the scope of Employee’s employment and therefore constitute works for hire and shall automatically upon their creation become the exclusive property of the Company. Employee agrees to promptly notify and fully disclose the existence of such works to the Company. To the extent such items are not works for hire under applicable law, Employee assigns them and any and all intangible proprietary rights relating thereto to the Company in their entirety and agrees to execute any and all documents necessary or desired by the Company to reflect the Company’s ownership thereof.

Work for Hire. The Developer expressly acknowledges and agrees that any all proprietary materials prepared by the Developer under this Agreement shall be considered “works for hire” and the exclusive property of the Company unless otherwise specified. These items shall include, but shall not be limited to, any and all deliverables resulting from the Developer’s Services or contemplated by this Agreement, all tangible results and proceeds of the Services, works in progress, records, diagrams, notes, drawings, specifications, schematics, documents, designs, improvements, inventions, discoveries, developments, trademarks, trade secrets, customer lists, databases, software, programs, middleware, applications, and solutions conceived, made, or discovered by the Developer, solely or in collaboration with others, during the Term of this Agreement relating in any manner to the Developer’s Services.
Work for Hire. I acknowledge and agree that any copyrightable works prepared by me within the scope of my employment are “works for hire” under the Copyright Act and that the Company will be considered the author and owner of such copyrightable works.
Work for Hire. The Executive agrees that the Inventions shall be deemed “work made for hire” and hereby assigns, and agrees to assign, to the Company all the Executive’s rights, title and interest in any such Inventions, whether or not during the term of this Agreement such Inventions may be reduced to practice, and to execute all patent applications, copyright applications, assignments and other documents, and to take all other steps necessary (but all at the Company’s expense), to vest in the Company the entire right, title and interest in and to those Inventions and in and to any patents or copyrights obtainable therefor in the United States and in foreign countries.
