Compliance with Laws, Regulations and Rules. The Charter School, through its Governing Board, shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and rules6. Neither the SCSB nor the local board of education assumes the duty to oversee the operations of the Charter School except as may otherwise be provided by law or separate contract.

This Agreement, the Option and the obligation of the Company to sell and deliver the Shares upon exercise of the Option are and shall be subject to (a) all applicable laws, government regulations and rules and (b) all applicable regulations and rules adopted by the Board. In addition to the foregoing, SILEVO covenants that it will provide written certification by an authorized officer of the applicable corporation(s) that any export or re-export of any technical data and commodities related to activities under this Agreement will have a valid United States Department of Commerce export license or that no export license is required. SILEVO will not integrate, promote, sell or otherwise transfer any technical data and/or commodities under this Agreement to any customer or end user for use in any military applications (other than military housing and buildings).
