Public Entity. When authorized and with the signing of this Agreement the Charter School becomes a “public school within the state’s public education system,” U.C.A. §53G-5-401(1)(a). As a public school under the Act, the School is subject to and must abide by all laws, regulations, rules, and policies otherwise effecting such public schools.17
Public Entity. A transfer of stock in a publicly ------------- held corporation or of the beneficial interest in any publicly held partnership or real estate investment trust.
Public Entity. If a public entity, SUBRECIPIENT shall submit to COUNTY a copy of a resolution, order or motion of its governing body that references this CONTRACT number and authorizes execution of this CONTRACT.
Public Entity. Central Health is a hospital district under State Law and, except for any limitations on its authority established by the Constitution and the Laws of the State, has the power and authority to enter into and perform its obligations under this Agreement.
Public Entity. UT is organized under State Law as an agency of the State and, subject to the approval of the Board of Regents, has the power and authority to enter into and perform its obligations under this Agreement.
Public Entity. A public entity pursuant to Section 24-10-103(5), C.R.S., as amended, and that is formed by this Pool Agreement by Member Special Districts as a separate and independent governmental and legal entity pursuant to the provisions of Article XIV, Section 18(2) of the Colorado Constitution and Sections 29-1-201 et. seq., 8-44-101(1)(C) and (3), 8-44-204, 24-10-115.5, and 00-00-000, C.R.S., as amended.
Public Entity. If Grantee is a public entity, Grantee shall comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and orders of any court or governmental authority that relate to this Agreement including without limitation the prevailing wage rate requirements set forth in ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 and the administrative rules promulgated thereunder (“Prevailing Wage Rate Law” or “PWR”), or, if applicable, 40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq. (“Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act”).
Public Entity. A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a proposal on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a proposal on a contract with a public entity for construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit proposals on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. When submitting this proposal, the proposer hereby certifies that they complied with said statute.
Public Entity. For quarterly advances of non-federal funding to state agencies and local educational agencies (LEAs) made in accordance within the authority of the General Appropriations Act. Disbursements must be documented and reported to the DEPARTMENT at the end of the project period. The PROVIDER must have detailed documentation supporting all requests for advances and disbursements that are reported on the final Project Disbursement Report (DOE 399).
Public Entity. As a public school under the Act, SLCSE is subject to and must abide by all laws, regulations, rules, and policies otherwise applicable to public schools.12
