Legislative Action. Section 1. Provisions of this Agreement not requiring legislative funding, or statutory changes, before such provisions can be put into effect, shall be implemented on the effective date of this Agreement or as otherwise specified herein.

Legislative Action. In the event that any provision of this Agreement requires legislative action to become effective, including, but not limited to, amendment of existing statutes, the adoption of new legislation, or the granting of appropriations, that provision shall become effective only if such legislative action is taken. Should any legislative action be required pursuant to this Section, the Employer and the Association agree to cooperate in any effort to secure legislative approval.
Legislative Action. This Agreement and any amendments to it are subject to applicable state and federal laws, and shall be deemed amended to reflect applicable changes to those laws. Upon repeal of the statutes authorizing charter schools, this Charter Agreement is null and void.

If the Legislature fails to act or approve bills submitted under this Article, the parties shall reconvene immediately to renegotiate an alternative provision.
Legislative Action. The University and UFF agree that neither will attempt to influence or support changes in existing statutes or legislation which would change the terms of this Agreement.

Legislative Action. The cost of items contained in this Agreement and the provisions of this Agreement which supersede pre-existing statutes shall not become effective unless or until legislative approval has been granted pursuant to Section 5-278(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes or as otherwise provided by said section. The State employer shall request such approval as provided in said Section. If the legislature rejects such request as a whole, the parties shall return to the bargaining table.
