More Definitions of Competent Authority

Competent Authority means the Authority, or any local, national or supra-national agency, authority, department, inspectorate, minister, official, court, tribunal or public or statutory person (whether autonomous or not) of the United Kingdom (or the government thereof) or the European Communities which has jurisdiction over the Transporter or a User or the subject matter of the Code;
Competent Authority means Executive Director or Group General Manager or General Manager (In-charge) or General Manager or BHEL Officers who are empowered to act on behalf of the Executive Director or General Manager (In-charge) or General Manager of BHEL.
Competent Authority means any agency, authority, department, ministry, public or statutory Person of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of India, or any local authority, or any department, division or other sub-division thereof with authority over aspects of implementation of the Project having jurisdiction over all or any part of the Project, the Site and / or the Assets or the performance of all or any of the services or obligations of the Concessionaire under or pursuant to this Agreement and includes any commission, board, authority, agency or municipal and other local authority or statutory body including Panchayat under the control of the Government of India or the Government of Maharashtra, as the case may be, and having jurisdiction over all or any part of the Project, the Site and / or the Assets, as the case may be.
Competent Authority means Managing Director of Nodal Agency, himself and/or a person or group of persons nominated by him for the mentioned purpose herein;
