Continuous Service. The Parties shall continue providing services to each other during the pendency of any dispute resolution procedure, and the Parties shall continue to perform their obligations (including making payments in accordance with Article IV, Section 4) in accordance with this Agreement.

Continuous Service. ‌ Continuous service shall be employment unbroken by separation from COUNTY service, other than by military, Peace Corps, paid leave or UNION Leave in accordance with Article 4. Time spent on other types of authorized leave will not count as time of continuous service, except that employees returning from such leave, or employees who were laid off, shall be entitled to credit for service prior to the leave or layoff.
Continuous Service. Continuous service, for the purpose of accumulating vacation leave credit, shall be based on the time spent by an employee in active employment or on paid leave. Time spent on leaves which are not paid by the City will not be counted as a part of continuous service for accrual purposes, but employees returning from such leaves and from layoff status shall be entitled to credit for service prior to the leave.
