UPS Customer Center definition

UPS Customer Center means a UPS facility where shippers may tender packages to UPS for transportation, and a consignee or other recipient may receive a package Delivery. “UPS Worldwide Express FreightTM Center” means a UPS facility where shippers may tender UPS Worldwide Express Freight pallets to UPS for transportation, and a consignee or other recipient may receive pallets. Before accepting a shipment tendered for transportation or releasing any shipment at a UPS Customer Center or a UPS Worldwide Express Freight Center to a consignee or other recipient, UPS reserves the right to require sufficient verification, as determined by UPS in its sole discretion, of the shipper’s or recipient’s name, address, authorization to ship or receive the shipment, or any other information UPS deems necessary to accept or release the shipment in its sole discretion. Persons tendering or picking up shipments on behalf of a business may be required to provide identification issued by the business and a government-issued identification. A residential consignee will be required to provide a government-issued identification. UPS reserves the right to require payment to be made at Customer Centers and UPS Worldwide Express Freight Centers by payment card only.
UPS Customer Center means a UPS facility where Shippers may tender Packages to UPS for transportation, and a Consignee or other recipient may receive a Package Delivery.

  • For each such Shipment, the Shipper will complete an address label showing the words “Hold for Pickup,” the Consignee’s name, telephone number, the name of a contact person, and the full address of the Consignee (designated UPS Worldwide Express Freight® Center address not required).UPS will hold the Shipment at the des­ ignated UPS Customer Center or UPS Worldwide Express Freight® Center and will attempt to contact the Consignee at the telephone number shown on the label.

  • Handguns (as defined by 18 U.S.C.§ 921) will be accepted for transpor­ tation only via a UPS Next Day Air delivery service.– Firearms (including handguns) are accepted for transportation only via Scheduled Pickup Service or at a UPS Customer Center.

  • Network Customer means an entity receiving transmission service pursuant to the terms of the Transmission Provider’s Network Integration Transmission Service under Tariff, Part III. Network External Designated Transmission Service:

  • END USER CUSTOMER LOCATION means the physical location of the premises where an End User makes use of the telecommunications services.

  • Business Customer means a customer who is not a residential customer.

  • Interconnection Customer means a Generation Interconnection Customer and/or a Transmission Interconnection Customer.

  • End User Customer means a third party retail Customer that subscribes to a Telecommunications Service provided by either of the Parties or by another Carrier or by two (2) or more Carriers.

  • Customer System means the Customer's computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Customer or the Supplier in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Customer by a third party and which interfaces with the Supplier System or which is necessary for the Customer to receive the Services;

  • Customer Site means the site owned or leased by the Customer or any other site used to provide the Service, which is directly connected to a PoP managed by Liquid Telecom, as set out in the COF;

  • Customer User means an employee of Customer, a Customer Affiliate or Business Partner.

  • Customer Care Centre means a department or a section or a facility established under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 25 by the distributor of television for addressing service requests, answering queries, recording of complaints, and redressal of grievances of consumers, by telephonic or electronic means or by any other means.

  • DMA Customer means a Customer of a Sponsoring Broker where representatives of the Customer that are natural persons are designated by the Sponsoring Broker to have Trading Access to the SEF Platform using the Participant ID of the Sponsoring Broker and where such Customer signs the DMA Customer Documentation.

  • Data Center(s) means the site or sites at which the Software will be hosted to provide the Authorized Services to Customers. Such site or sites shall at all times be owned or controlled by the Provider.

  • Surplus Interconnection Customer means either an Interconnection Customer whose Generating Facility is already interconnected to the PJM Transmission System or one of its affiliates, or an unaffiliated entity that submits a Surplus Interconnection Request to utilize Surplus Interconnection Service within the Transmission System in the PJM Region. A Surplus Interconnection Customer is not a New Service Customer.

  • Carrier Access Billing System (“CABS”) is the system which is defined in a document prepared under the direction of the Billing Committee of the OBF. The CABS document is published by Telcordia in Volumes 1, 1A, 2, 3, 3A, 4 and 5 as Special Reports SR-OPT-001868, SR-OPT-0011869, SR-OPT-001871, SR-OPT- 001872, SR-OPT-001873, SR-OPT-001874, and SR-OPT-001875, respectively, and contains the recommended guidelines for the billing of access and other connectivity services. Sprint’s carrier access billing system is its Carrier Access Support System (CASS). CASS mirrors the requirements of CABS.

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region. Generation Interconnection Request:

  • Customer Usage Data means the Telecommunications Services usage data of a CLEC End User measured in minutes, sub-minute increments, message units, or otherwise, that is recorded by SBC-13STATE and forwarded to CLEC.

  • Customer Portal means a web portal maintained by Liferay or a Liferay Affiliate that provides for various resources accessible to Liferay Subscription customers as further described in Section 2.1 below.

  • Customer Systems means the Customer's information technology infrastructure, including computers, software, hardware, databases, electronic systems (including database management systems), and networks, whether operated by Customer or through the use of third-party services.

  • Net metering customer means a customer of the electric distribution company

  • TCP Customers We will not impose Credit Management Charges unless the Charges are a reimbursement of our costs and you are advised of their amount or method of calculation.

  • New Customer has the meaning set forth in Section 17.3(b).

  • Data Center means the location where the production instance of the Cloud Service is hosted for the Customer in its region, as published at: xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx/corporate-en/about/our- company/policies/data-privacy-and-security/location-of-data-center.html or notified to Customer or otherwise agreed in an Order Form.

  • Customer-generator means a user of a net metering system.

  • Customer Services means the call centre for dealing with queries about your Card. You can contact Customer Services by calling 01 693 3333, or contacting us directly.

  • Service Location means a location at which a member obtains a covered service provided by a physician or other licensed practitioner of the healing arts under the terms of a contract.

  • Host Customer means the customer account directly connected to a Customer-Generator Facility or Community Energy Facility, or, for a stand-alone Community Energy Facility, the customer account as designated by the Subscribers who share the energy production of the Community Energy Facility.

  • End-Use Customer means a person or entity in Delaware that purchases electrical energy at retail prices from a Retail Electricity Supplier.
