Operating System Software definition

Operating System Software or “operating system software” means the software necessary to operate the Hardware.
Operating System Software means a set of statements or instructions that when incorporated into a machine or device having information processing capabilities is an interface between the computer hardware and the application computer software or system software.
Operating System Software means (i) a computer program that manages other computer programs in a computer, and (ii) is used by application programs by making requests for services through a defined application program interface.
