Date of Reemployment definition

Date of Reemployment means the date an Employee first performs an Hour of Service for an Employer after a termination of Service.
Date of Reemployment means the first day you perform an Hour of Service for the University following a Break in Service, unless you are a faculty member, in which case it means the effective date of your appointment as a faculty member following a Break in Service.
Date of Reemployment means the day on which an Employee first commences employment or reemployment following Termination of Employment, retirement after attaining his Retirement Date-or recovery from Total and Permanent Disability, as the case may be, with an Employer or an Affiliated Company by performing an Hour of Service.

Examples of Date of Reemployment in a sentence

  • A Participant who terminates employment and is subsequently reemployed shall become a Participant on the Entry Date coincident with or next following his Date of Reemployment.

  • For purposes of determining whether an Employee has completed Six (6) Months of Service, the applicable computation period shall be the six (6) consecutive month period commencing on (1) the Participant's Date of Employment or Date of Reemployment, if applicable, and (2) the Participant's Mid-Year Anniversary Date, and anniversaries of such dates.

  • MID-YEAR ANNIVERSARY DATE means the date which is the first day following the six (6) month period commencing on the Participant's Date of Employment or Date of Reemployment, if applicable.

  • ANNIVERSARY YEAR means the twelve (12) consecutive month period commencing on an Employee's Date of Employment or Date of Reemployment, if applicable, and anniversaries of such date.

  • If no entries are made above, all Employees shall be eligible to participate in the Plan on the later of: (i) the Effective Date or (ii) the first day of the calendar month or calendar quarter (as designated by the Employer in Section II.D.) coinciding with or immediately following the Employee's Date of Employment or, as applicable, Date of Reemployment.

  • An Employee who terminates employment before becoming a Participant and is reemployed after incurring a Break in Service shall become a Participant when he satisfies the eligibility requirements of Section 2.02, based on his Date of Reemployment.

  • An “Eligibility Year of Service” shall mean a Period of Service of three hundred sixty-five (365) days, commencing with an Employee’s Date of Employment, or, if applicable, an Employee’s Date of Reemployment, subject to the provisions of Section 3.02 hereof.

  • In the event that a Participant incurs a Period of Severance and is subsequently reemployed by an Employer, he shall resume participation in the Plan for all purposes effective as of his Date of Reemployment.

  • If a Participant has one or more One-Year Periods of Severance but fewer than five One-Year Periods of Severance (whether before or after becoming eligible to participate in the Plan) at the Participant’s Date of Reemployment, the Participant will receive credit for vesting purposes for all Years of Service completed prior to and after the Participant’s One-Year Periods of Severance with respect to the Participant’s entire Account.

  • Each Eligible Employee is eligible to become a Participant as of such Employee’s Date of Employment or Date of Reemployment, as applicable.


More Definitions of Date of Reemployment

Date of Reemployment means the first day on which an Employee performs an Hour of Service after incurring a Break in Service.
Date of Reemployment means the date an Employee as defined in this section has returned to service after a termination of eligible employment in excess of 30 calendar days.
Date of Reemployment means the first day upon which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service for the performance of duties after a Break in Service. For this purpose, a Break in Service is a 12-month period commencing with his or her date of employment in which he or she fails to be credited with at least 500 Hours of Service.
Date of Reemployment means the first date on which an Employee completes an hour of service with the Employer following a termination of employment.
Date of Reemployment means the date on which an Employee first completes an Hour of Service with the Employer within the meaning of Section 1.21(a) after a One-Year Break in Service.
Date of Reemployment means the first date following a Period of Severance that is not credited as Service under the Plan on which an employee of the Company or any Subsidiary performs an Hour of Service.

Related to Date of Reemployment

  • Reemployment Commencement Date means the first day following a One-Year Period of Severance on which an Employee is entitled to be credited with an Hour of Service described in Paragraph (a)(1) of the definition of “Hour of Service” in this Article.

  • Date of Service means the date on which the client receives medical services or items, unless otherwise specified in the appropriate provider rules. For items that are mailed or shipped by the provider, the date of service is the date on which the order was received, the date on which the item was fabricated, or the date on which the item was mailed or shipped.

  • Reemployment means taking a position with the City following a break in continuous service.

  • Date of Employment means the first day an Employee performs an Hour of Service.

  • Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Supported employment means the ongoing supports to participants who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce at or above the state’s minimum wage or at or above the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

  • Postponed Retirement Date means the first day of the month coincident with or next following a Participant’s date of actual retirement which occurs after his Normal Retirement Date.

  • Active Employment means you must be actively at work for the Sponsor:

  • Covered employment means employment in a covered position.

  • Severance Date means the date on which an Eligible Employee incurs a Severance.

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • Disability Effective Date means the date on which termination of employment becomes effective due to Disability.

  • Effective Termination Date has the meaning set forth in Section 10(b) hereof.

  • Disability retirement for plan 1 members, means the period

  • Severance from Employment means severance from employment with the Employer and any Related Entity. However, a Severance from Employment also occurs on any date on which an Employee ceases to be an employee of a public school, even though the Employee may continue to be employed by a Related Employer that is another unit of the State or local government that is not a public school or in a capacity that is not employment with a public school (e.g., ceasing to be an employee performing services for a public school but continuing to work for the same State or local government employer).

  • Last day of paid employment means the last date employer and employee

  • Disability benefit recipient means a member who is receiving a disability benefit.

  • Earliest Retirement Age means the earliest date on which, under the Plan, the Participant could elect to receive retirement benefits.

  • Severance from Service Date means the earlier of:

  • Date of Hire means the date on which a person shall perform his first Hour of Service. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event a person incurs one or more consecutive Breaks after his initial Date of Hire which results in the forfeiture of his pre-Break Service pursuant to Section 3.3, his "Date of Hire" shall thereafter be the date on which he completes his first Hour of Service after such Break or Breaks.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.

  • Retirement Date means the date as of which a Participant retires for reasons other than Total and Permanent Disability, whether such retirement occurs on a Participant's Normal Retirement Date or Late Retirement Date (see Section 6.1).

  • Ceased employment means anyone who has exited the organisation for whatever reason, including resignations, redundancies and dismissals.
