Care of Equipment. Students are expected to keep the equipment in good working condition. Students are to follow these proper care guidelines. ● Laptops must be carried and transported appropriately. Laptops should be carried in their cases to and from school and in between class periods. Other times, two hands should be used when transporting a laptop from one location to another. ● No food or drink should be in the immediate vicinity of a laptop. Laptops should not be used during school lunch periods. ● Students may not put personal stickers or deface laptops or carrying cases. ● Students may not borrow or lend laptops. Each device is configured for the assigned student. ● Students are to charge their laptops at home before coming to school. ● Students must never leave the equipment in an unsecured location. ● Students are to keep passwords secure and only share passwords with their parents and school personnel. ● Students are to never alter the management settings on the laptops nor install additional software.
Care of Equipment. You must protect the Equipment against misuse, exposure to adverse conditions and any other abuse or neglect, ensure that it remains in good operating condition and it returned to Us at the end of the Term in the condition required. RETURN OF EQUIPMENT: You agree to ensure that, upon return to Us, the Equipment will be clean, free of all regulated or hazardous substances (including without limitations, substances identified as “hazardous materials” under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and/or any other federal, state or local laws, rules and/or regulations purporting to deal with toxic or hazardous substances), rental-ready, and otherwise is substantially the same order condition and repair as at the Time Out, “Ordinary Wear and Tear”. You agree to pay a reasonable charge for Equipment returned in any other condition. Any Equipment not returned within 30 days following Your rental dates duration will be deemed lost and in addition to Late Fees, You will be charged full Equipment replacement fees. ORDINARY WEAR AND TEAR: “Ordinary Wear and Tear,” meaning normal deterioration resulting from the proper and intended use of the Equipment in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, will not be considered damage. Damage which is not “Ordinary Wear and Tear” (and for which You will be solely responsible) includes without limitation, theft, mysterious disappearance, damage due to overloading or exceeding rated capacities, nonstandard use, operation without proper supports and/or safety equipment, improper use, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents and intentional damage.

  • Item of Equipment means each item of the Equipment.

  • School equipment means a durable school-owned machine, equipment, or tool used by a student as part of an activity, course, or program in a secondary school and includes a saw or 3D printer. “School equipment” includes a saw or 3D printer.

  • Rental Equipment means the equipment identified on the Service Agreement and Order Schedule or otherwise notified to you in writing that we will rent to you as part of our provision of the Services and which you will return to us after expiry or termination of the Agreement, subject to the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Fixed Equipment means any property affixed in any way to the Licensed Premises existing at the time Notice to Proceed is given, whose removal would damage the Licensed Premises.

  • Medical equipment means equipment used in a patient care environment to support patient treatment and diagnosis.

  • Contractor’s Equipment means all apparatus, machinery, vehicles and other things required for the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of any defects. However, Contractor’s Equipment excludes Temporary Works, Employer’s Equipment (if any), Plant, Materials and any other things intended to form or forming part of the Equipment.

  • Capital Equipment means machinery and equipment purchased or leased, and used in this state by the purchaser or lessee primarily for manufacturing, fabricating, mining, or refining tangible personal property to be sold ultimately at retail if the machinery and equipment are essential to the integrated production process of manufacturing, fabricating, mining, or refining. Capital equipment also includes machinery and equipment used primarily to electronically transmit results retrieved by a customer of an online computerized data retrieval system.

  • Equipment is all “equipment” as defined in the Code with such additions to such term as may hereafter be made, and includes without limitation all machinery, fixtures, goods, vehicles (including motor vehicles and trailers), and any interest in any of the foregoing.

  • Customer Equipment means hardware, software, systems, cabling and facilities provided by you and used in conjunction with the Equipment that we supply to you in order to receive the Services;

  • Associated equipment means equipment that is used in conjunction with a radiographic exposure device to make radiographic exposures that drives, guides, or comes in contact with the source, e.g., guide tube, control tube, control (drive) cable, removable source stop, “J” tube and collimator when it is used as an exposure head.
