Appeal of Discharge or Discipline. Should the discharged or disciplined employee consider the discharge or discipline to be improper, a grievance shall be presented in writing as provided in the grievance procedure. In cases of discharge, or discipline resulting in suspension, the grievance shall be filed at Step 2 of the grievance procedure within 10 days of the discharge.

Appeal of Discharge or Discipline. Should the discharged or disciplined employee and the Xxxxxxx consider the discharge or discipline improper, a complaint shall be presented, in writing, through the Xxxxxxx to the Superintendent’s designated representative within three (3) regular scheduled working days of the discharge or discipline. The Superintendent’s designated representative will review the discharge or discipline and give an answer within five (5) regular scheduled working days after receiving the complaint. If the decision is not satisfactory to the Union, the matter shall be referred to Step Three of the grievance procedure.
