Ancillary Services definition

Ancillary Services means those services that are necessary to support the transmission of capacity and energy from resources to loads while maintaining reliable operation of the Transmission Provider’s Transmission System in accordance with Good Utility Practice. Applicable Laws and Regulations:
Ancillary Services means services that are associated with or incidental to the provision of telecommunications services, including, but not limited to, detailed telecommunications billing, directory assistance, vertical service and voice mail services.
Ancillary Services means those services that are necessary to support the transmission of capacity and energy from resources to loads while maintaining reliable operation of the Transmission Provider’s Transmission System in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

Examples of Ancillary Services in a sentence

  • The execution of this Agreement does not constitute a request for, nor agreement to provide Energy, any Ancillary Services or Installed Capacity under the NYISO Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”).

  • If Developer wishes to supply Energy, Installed Capacity or Ancillary Services, then Developer will make application to do so in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Ancillary Services shall mean those services that are necessary to support the transmission of Capacity and Energy from resources to Loads while maintaining reliable operation of the New York State Transmission System in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Energy Resource Interconnection Service (“ERIS”) shall mean the service provided by NYISO to interconnect the Developer’s Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System or to the Distribution System in accordance with the NYISO Minimum Interconnection Standard, to enable the New York State Transmission System to receive Energy and Ancillary Services from the Large Generating Facility, pursuant to the terms of the ISO OATT.

  • If the CAISO Ancillary Services Certification has not occurred within thirty (30) days after the Initial Delivery Date, Seller shall owe liquidated damages to Buyer of $15,000 per day of delay, provided that such thirty (30)-day deadline shall be extended on a day-for-day basis for reasons of Force Majeure or other events or circumstances outside of Seller’s reasonable control.
