TERM CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES. Articles to apply to term classifiedemployees appointed under section of the Public Service Act. Notwithstanding the release of a term classified employee during the employee’s term of employment, and the termination of employment upon the expiry of the term, shall not be considered to be a dismissal and shall not give rise to an alleged violation of the Collective Agreement. TERM CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES. Articles to I apply to term classified employees appointed under section of the Public Service Act. Except as provided in this Article the following provisions of the Collective Agreement apply to term classified employees: and Appendix and E will also apply to term classified employees except as provided in this article. Subject to the Public Act and Regulations, Articles and Appendix F will also apply to term classified employees except as provided in this Article. Notwithstanding Article the release of a term classified employee during the employee’s term of employment, and the termination of employment upon the expiry of the term, shall not be considered to be a dismissal and shall not give rise to an alleged violation of the Collective Agreement. In the event of the release of a term classified employee during the employee’s term of employment, the employee shall be given sixteen (16) weeks regular wages in lieu of notice. Severance pay shall be given in accordance with the Standards Act For a period of one (1)year after the release of, the expiry of the a term classified employee, the employee may apply for vacancies as advertised under Article Notwithstanding Article Articles and shall not apply to a term classified employee.
