Temporary Seniority Accrual. If a member accepts a promotion to another position within the Bargaining Unit, the member will continue to accrue classification seniority in their former position for up to six (6) months. If the promoted member remains in their current position beyond six (6) months, their former classification seniority will be frozen at the time reflecting the date of their promotion.

  • Temporary Layoffs A. The Employer may initiate a temporary layoff for up to twelve (12) working days per fiscal year. Employees will be given thirty (30) days’ notice before the effective date of a temporary layoff. Employees may request alternative temporary layoff days from their manager or supervisor and any requests will be considered and approved or denied in writing.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.

  • TEMPORARY LEAVE OF ABSENCE A. All employees shall be entitled to the following temporary non-accumulative leaves of absence with full pay each school year and such days of temporary leave must be taken as either one-half (½) or one (1) full school day. No leaves shall be taken immediately prior to or immediately after holidays and vacations. Only one of the three personal leave days may be taken immediately prior to or immediately after a holiday or vacation.
