Temporary Foreperson. 28.2.1 An employee who is assigned the duties of a Foreperson on a temporary basis will be paid a premium of 10% with a minimum of 80 cents per hour.

Temporary Foreperson. A Temporary Foreperson is an employee designated by the Superintendent or General Foreperson of Public Works to perform the duties of a Foreperson during the Winter Control period.
Temporary Foreperson. From April 1 through November 30 of each year, once 50 an employee in the Parks Department is assigned at the beginning of a 51 workweek to supervise other workers, that employee shall be paid a stipend 52 equal to eight [8] percent of the employee’s base wage rate for all hours worked 53 in that week, regardless of whether the number of employees actually supervised 54 is reduced during the week. This stipend shall not be paid during paid time off.
Temporary Foreperson. When, at the discretion of the Assistant Superintendent for Facilities Operations, conditions exist that warrant short-term on-site supervision, a Temporary Foreperson may be assigned to provide such supervision in conjunction with the employee!s normal duties. Temporary Forepersons will receive supplemental compensation in accordance with APPENDIX D during each day of such assignment, which shall not exceed 90 working days. Employees shall receive Temporary Foreperson pay during holidays, vacation, sick, or personal days until the assignment is terminated. The minimum duration of such assignment will be one workday. Such arrangement may be made, changed, or terminated with one workday's notice.

  • Temporary Roads As necessary to attain stabilization of roadbed and fill slopes of Temporary Roads, Purchaser shall employ such measures as out- sloping, drainage dips, and water-spreading ditches. After a Temporary Road has served Purchaser’s pur- pose, Purchaser shall give notice to Forest Service and shall remove bridges and culverts, eliminate ditches, out- slope roadbed, remove ruts and berms, effectively block the road to normal vehicular traffic where feasible under existing terrain conditions, and build cross ditches and water bars, as staked or otherwise marked on the ground by Forest Service. When bridges and culverts are re- moved, associated fills shall also be removed to the ex- tent necessary to permit normal maximum flow of water.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.

  • Temporary Upgrade An employee in a temporary upgrade status shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such temporary upgrade status.
