Teacher Responsibility. The Board and the Association acknowledge that a teacher's primary responsibility is to teach and that support personnel and volunteers shall be used to assist with and reduce teachers' non-instructional responsibilities. The Board and the Association agree that, in order to encourage the efficient use of time and to conserve paper, paperwork required of teachers should be kept to a minimum.
Teacher Responsibility. The applicant is required to state in writing his/her intention to return to the school district at the expiration of the leave.
Teacher Responsibility. It is mutually agreed that the educational quality of the school system reflects the ideals, expectations, preparation and conduct of its teachers.
Teacher Responsibility. The teacher shall have available for the substitute instructional plans, roll of students, seating charts where appropriate, and materials in such condition that the substitute will have direction in his/her work.

Teacher Responsibility. A. Teachers shall not leave a class unattended except in an emergency. They shall be responsible for the supervision of students on the school grounds as well as in the school building except when released by other provisions of this Agreement.
Teacher Responsibility. Teachers have a responsibility to regulate the conduct and protect all students on school property. Under usual circumstances, teachers will be available immediately before and after school in their classroom to assist students. All teachers and administrators share a responsibility for the movement of students within the building.
