SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF CONTRACT. A. This Agreement is made and entered into at Chicago, Illinois, by and between the Board of Trustees of Community College District No. 508, County of Xxxx and State of Illinois (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”), and the American Federation of Teachers, AFL- CIO, and its Local 1708, Federation of College Clerical and Technical Personnel (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Union”). Should the Board recognize another employee organization as successor to the Union, such successor organization shall have all the duties, rights, and privileges contained in this Agreement.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF CONTRACT. Section 1Collateral Agreements 1 The parties hereto have set forth herein all the agreements between them with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, or other conditions of employment of employees covered hereby, except for the Non-Contributory Retirement Plan Agreement, the Health-Security Program Agreement, and the Contract Continuing and Amending the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan, which three agreements were entered into on the date of this Contract and are and shall continue to be separate contracts between the parties. This Contract shall continue to be the entire agreement between the parties, except for the aforesaid three agreements, and shall remain in effect without modification or addition for its SCOPE AND PURPOSE ARTICLE II duration except as otherwise specifically provided for in this Contract. 2 The parties acknowledge that during the negotiations which resulted in this Contract, each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, and that the understandings and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth in this Contract. Therefore, the Company and the Union, for the life of this Contract, each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the right, and each agrees that the other shall not be obligated, to bargain collectively with respect to any subject or matter referred to, or covered in this Contract, or with respect to any subject or matter not specifically referred to or covered in this Contract, even though such subject or matter may not have been within the knowledge or contemplation of either or both of the parties at the time that they negotiated or signed this Contract.
SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF CONTRACT. The purpose of the contract is to cover Oslo University Hospital's needs for in vitro and in vivo testing for contaminations for the establishment of a Master Cell Bank of a lentivirus-transduced human cell line. The cell line will be used as feeder cells in the production of a cell-therapeutic product for cancer therapy and needs to follow the EMA and FDAs guidelines for raw materials for production of cell-therapeutic products.
SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF CONTRACT. The purpose of the contract is to cover Oslo University Hospital's needs for health monitoring (HM) of animals (rodents). The scope of the contract is the annual and intermediate monitoring as described in Appendix 1 and 2, as well as any additional samples ordered as needed. The contract is a framework agreement that defines the terms and conditions for call offs (orders) made during the term of contract. Under the framework agreement, the Customer may place orders but is not bound to purchase any specific quantity. The Customer is not financially bound until it has placed orders under the agreement.
