Requested Time Off (R.T. O.) Employees, requesting and who are granted R.T.O. prior to the posting of the work schedule, shall not have their hours of work for the week reduced as a result of the granting of the request. It shall be optional for the Employer to reduce the hours or days for any request made and granted after the posting of the work schedule. Requested Time Off (RTO) is not an entitlement, it is a request. RTO language cannot circumvent the intent of fair rotation.

Requested Time Off (R.T. O.) The Employer will attempt to ensure that part-time employees, who request R.T.O. prior to the posting of the work schedule will know whether their hours of work for the week will be reduced as a result of their accepting this request. It shall be optional for the Employer to reduce the hours or days for any request made and granted after the posting of the work schedule.
Requested Time Off (R.T. O.) Calendar‌ A time off calendar will be posted in the same location as posted schedules. Prior to the posting of schedules, in-store employees may request time off on the calendar provided for this purpose. Float Staff employees will contact the person designated by the Company to have the responsibility for the Float Staff schedules. Where possible, employees granted time off shall not have their hours of work for the week reduced. It shall be optional for the employer to reduce their hours or days for any request made and granted after the posting of the work schedule.
Requested Time Off (R.T. O: Requests for time off must be made in writing or electronically at least two (2) weeks in advance of the schedule being posted. Requests with shorter than two (2) weeks’ notice may be accommodated and will be considered based on operational needs. Requests for time off will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Subject to the operational needs of the restaurant and the shift preferences of other employees in the same classification, employees, who have requested and who are granted R.T.O. prior to the posting of the work schedule, shall not have their shifts for the week reduced as a result of the granting of the request. The Employer may reduce the employee’s shifts for any requests made and granted after the posting of the work schedule. Notwithstanding the above, employees are welcome to attempt to exchange or drops shifts by use of the electronic scheduling system.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) Executive shall earn and accrue paid-time-off covering vacation and sick time benefits at the rate of twenty (20) days per year for employment periods of up to five years of service. The PTO accrual rate shall automatically increase by five (5) additional days for each additional 5 years of service up to maximum of thirty (30) days per year after 10 years of service. For example, after five years of service, the annual PTO accrual rate shall increase to twenty-five (25) days. Unused PTO shall carry over to the next year, but Executive shall cease accruing further PTO at any time Executive has accrued two times his annual accrual rate. Unused PTO days which are not in excess of two-times the annual accrual rate shall be paid in a cash lump sum payment promptly after Executive’s termination of employment.

  • Unrequested Leave of Absence Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this Article is to implement the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 122A.40, Subd. 10, which Article, when adopted, shall constitute a plan for unrequested leave because of discontinuance of position, lack of pupils, financial limitations or merger of classes caused by consolidation of districts.

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.

  • Extended Time Teachers, including but not limited to counselors, special education building coordinators, and library media specialists, who are assigned extended time beyond the school year to complete their regular school year duties will be paid on a pro-rata basis from the applicable salary schedule.

  • Unpaid Time Off All accruals must be exhausted prior to taking unpaid time off (unless eligible for EIT access).

  • Employer Requested Leave Leave of absence without loss of pay, seniority and all benefits shall be granted to employees whenever the Employer requires an employee to take designated courses and/or examinations. The cost of the course and/or any examination fee and reasonable expenses incurred in taking the course and/or examination shall be paid by the Employer.

  • Released Time Should the investigation or processing of any grievance require that an employee(s) or an Association representative(s) be released from his/her regular assignment, upon request of the Association, he/she shall be released without loss of pay or benefits.

  • Maternity/Parental/Adoption Leave (a) Maternity/Parental/Adoption leave shall be granted as a right as per the Employment Standards Act.
