Relieving Rates of Pay. Employees shall not have their rate reduced by reason of being temporarily assigned to a lower paid classification. Employees permanently assigned to a lower paid Wage Group shall have their hourly rate reduced to the rate for the classification to which they are assigned. Employees temporarily assigned to work in a higher paid classification shall receive the higher rate of pay for all time so employed.
Relieving Rates of Pay. 25.01 When an employee is assigned to relieve in a higher paying classification, th employee shall receive the higher rate of pay where such relieving is for more than one (1) working shift. In such event, the relieving rate will be retroactive to the start of such shift.

Relieving Rates of Pay. 7.01 Any employee relieving another employee in a classification calling for a higher rate of pay, providing the relieving is for more than one (1) day, shall receive the higher rate of pay for all hours worked in that classification.
Relieving Rates of Pay. 11.01 An employee temporarily assigned to perform substantial duties or responsibilities of a higher salary classification for at least one (1) entire shift shall be paid at the step in the higher salary classification range that provides an increase of at least five percent (5%) above her current rate.
Relieving Rates of Pay. 7.01 Any full-time employee assigned to work in a higher paying full-time classification, shall be paid for all hour worked in such classification, at the higher rate of pay (a minimum of one hour at the upgraded wage shall be paid). Any part-time employee assigned to a higher paying part-time classification shall be paid the higher rate of pay for all hour worked in the higher classification. It is also agreed that if an employee works more than half his shift in the higher paying classification, then he will be paid for the entire shift at the higher rate. When an employee / crew is required to perform work in a higher-rated classification, said employee / crew shall be paid a minimum of one hour at the upgrade wages in the higher classification.
