REIMBURSEMENT FOR EDUCATION. Upon satisfactory completion of a course of study taken for the Town’s benefit and approved in advance by the Town Board, the Town shall reimburse an employee for all tuition, fees and books required. Each year the Town shall provide employees with a town-sponsored Defensive Driving Course compensated by the Town. Employees attending this course will do so on their own time.

The maximum amount the district will pay per teacher during the teacher’s employment at Prairie Central C.U.S.D. #8 shall be $7,200. Teachers must submit a request for reimbursement in writing prior to taking any course to the Superintendent. A request for course approval must be submitted thirty (30) days prior to the start of class. The Superintendent’s decision to accept or reject the course shall be final. A copy of the grade card or transcript from the university demonstrating the teacher earned a grade of “B” or better must be on file in the District’s Administrative Office. Approved reimbursement shall occur, after the fact, through the District’s regular xxxx payment schedule. If all necessary verifications are received by the first (1st) day of the month, the payment for approved tuition expenses shall be received with sixty (60) calendar days after being submitted.

REIMBURSEMENT FOR EDUCATION. Upon satisfactory completion of a course of study taken for the Town’s benefit, or required to maintain up to date with new and revised job qualifications, and approved in advance by the Town Board, the Town shall reimburse an employee for all tuition, fees and books required. The Town Board shall consider an increase in salary for an employee seeking to further their education for the benefit of the Town. All courses require prior approval from the Town Board to be considered for salary increase.

  • Reimbursement for Travel Harford County Public Schools will reimburse employees for approved transportation at the rate established by the Internal Revenue Service. All requests for transportation reimbursement must be submitted to the Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services for prior approval before payment can be authorized.

  • Reimbursement for Expenses Consultant shall not be reimbursed for any expenses unless authorized in writing by City.

  • HOME EDUCATION 1. Educational services that may be required for home education students as defined in School Act, Part II, Div. 4, Sec. 12 & 13 and School Act Regulations, Sec. (3), shall be provided by bargaining unit members.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Member Education The Contractor shall provide members with general information about the benefits packages covered under the Hoosier Healthwise program. The Contractor shall have policies and procedures in place to ensure that member education information is accurate in content, accurate in translation relevant to language, and do not defraud, mislead, or confuse the member. Member education shall include, but not necessarily limited to the items noted below:

  • Employee Education (A) At the discretion of the Agency Head or designee, the state may allow employees to attend short courses, institutes, and workshops which will improve their performance in their current position, without a loss of pay and benefits.

  • Adult Education Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.

  • Board of Education a) If the unit member and the Association are not satisfied with the decision at Stage 2, the Grievance Committee will file an appeal in writing with the Board of Education within fifteen (15) school days after receiving the decision at Stage 2. The official grievance record maintained by the Superintendent of Schools shall be available for the use of the Board of Education.

  • Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.
