Grade Card definition

Grade Card means a certificate issued to each candidate generally containing course type, course code, course title, grade, credit values and grade points along with SGPA of that semester/CGPA of the Programme.
Grade Card means the detailed performance record in a term/ programme.
Grade Card means the printed record of students’ performance, awarded to him/her.

Examples of Grade Card in a sentence

  • After the completion of each Semester, a Grade Card or Grade Sheet (or Transcript) shall be issued to all the Registered Students of that Semester, indicating the Letter Grades and Credits earned.

  • Students shall be admitted for the award of degree only after the release of the Eighth semester Grade Card.

  • After the completion of each semester, a Grade Card or Grade Sheet (Memorandum of Grades) shall be issued to all the registered students of that semester, indicating the letter grades and credits earned.

  • The final Mark cum Grade Card issued at the end of the final semester shall contain the details of all courses taken during the entire programme including those taken over and above the prescribed minimum credits for obtaining the degree.

  • Within one week after the last date of first internal assessment test or by the date notified in the academic calendar, the student may in consultation with his / her faculty mentor/adviser, drop one or more courses without prejudice to the minimum number of credits as specified in clause 5.4. The dropped courses are not recorded in the Grade Card.


More Definitions of Grade Card

Grade Card means a certificate based on the grades earned. Grade cards shall be issued to all the students registered for the examination after every semester. The grade card will contain the course details (code, title, number of credits, grade secured) along with SGPA ofthe semester and CGPA earned till that semester. The final semester grade card shall also reflect the cumulative total of marks obtained by the student in all semesters out of maximum marks allocated for which the grades of the program were evaluated. However, the final result will be based on the grades/CGPA.
