Adult Education. Teachers of Adult Education shall be paid at the rate of thirty-five ($35.00) an hour. Break time will not be deducted from teachers’ pay.
Adult Education. 29.1 The following provisions of this Agreement will apply to adult education teachers; Article II: Non- Discrimination; Article III: Grievances; Article XVI: Safety and Environmental Working Conditions.
Adult Education. Preference in filling open positions in the Adult Education Program shall be given to qualified teachers from the New Haven School System who apply for positions within their areas of certification. Adult education teachers shall be paid $32.00 per hour. Teachers shall be certified in the area in which they are requested to teach. Such assignments are voluntary.
Adult Education. If a trainee begins the practical training after reaching the age of 21, the wages are agreed in each individual case on the basis of the individual’s previous employment and education. If the trainee or employer so wishes, the wage levels can be agreed with the assistance of the parties. Trainees who, at the start of the training agreement, have reached the age of 25, and who enter into a customised course of adult education, see the Executive Orders on Education and Training, are paid in accordance with the principles of section 4 of the collective agreement.
Adult Education. A. Reimbursement will be considered for job training including professional development, CDL and for all non-probationary employees with prior approval of the Superintendent. An employee shall receive reimbursement for training outside their assigned hours when the training is applicable to upgrading techniques or knowledge in direct relation to the employee’s position. Application for reimbursement may be obtained from the Superintendent’s office.
Adult Education. Employees enrolled in District 150’s Adult Education Courses shall be eligible for a full tuition refund after satisfactorily completing such specialized courses.
Adult Education. When the provisions of this chapter refer to a clause of the youth sector, the term "school" shall read "centre" unless these two terms are used distinctively.
Adult Education a. Adult education teachers will be entitled to increment credit after the completion of one thousand (1,000) hours of teaching experience.
