Town Board. The Town Board shall hear and decide appeals where it is alleged that there is error in any order, decision or determination made by the project administrator in administering stormwater quality or quantity duties arising from development. The board may authorize variances that are not contrary to the public interest, and where owing to special conditions unique to the property, a literal enforcement would be an unnecessary hardship.

Town Board. If the employee or Superintendent of Highways is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at the Second Step, he may submit a written appeal to the Town Board or its designee within five (5) working days after receiving a decision at the Second Step or within not less than ten 10) working days, nor not more than fifteen (15) working days after the grievance was presented at the Second Step. The Board or designee, within ten (10) working days after receiving the appeal, shall hold a Hearing, at which the employee may present his grievance. The Board or designee, within ten (10) working days following the Hearing, shall give the employee a written decision. Fourth Step - Arbitration If the employee is not satisfied with the disposition of his grievance at the Third Step, he may appeal to arbitration within five (5) working days after receiving a decision at the Third Step or in not less than twenty (20) working days, nor more than twenty-five (25) working days after the grievance was presented at the Third Step. A request for arbitration may be initiated by the Union, upon serving the Supervisor a notice, in writing, of an intent to proceed to arbitration. This notice shall identify the Agreement provision in dispute, the issue to be determined, and the employee or employees involved. U pon re ce ip t of a no xxxx re q u e stin g a rb itra tio n , the p a rtie s or th e ir representatives, shall attem pt to mutually agree upon an arbitrator. If the parties cannot voluntarily agree upon the selection of an arbitrator, they shall request PERB to subm it the names of seven (7) suggested arbitrators. Each party shall alternately strike a name until one name remains. The Supervisor and the Union shall alternate striking the first name. The person remaining shall be the arbitrator.

  • School Board Any reference to School Board or District in this Agreement shall mean the District and/or its designated officials.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • LIAISON COMMITTEE 8.01 A Liaison Committee shall be established which shall meet on an informal basis at the call of any of the parties signatory hereto, to discuss matters of mutual interest pertaining to the Project and/or this Agreement, with the objective of promoting and maintaining beneficial relations and cooperation between the parties, and of ensuring the achievement of the purposes of this Agreement. The Liaison will meet at least twice per year.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.

  • Chairman of the Board The Chairman of the Board, if any, shall perform such duties as shall be assigned, and shall exercise such powers as may be granted to him or her by the Manager or the Board.

  • Joint Job Evaluation Committee The parties entered into agreement December 17, 1992, to ensure the Joint Gender- Neutral Job Evaluation Plan remains current and operational and to that end endorsed the Joint Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation Maintenance Agreement. The parties agree that a guiding principle for the Committee is that there shall be no discrimination between male and female employees wherein a person of one sex is paid more than a person of the other sex for similar or substantially similar work.

  • Union Committee The Union shall appoint and maintain a Committee comprising persons who are employees of the Employer, and/or the Senior Union Official, or her/his representative, which shall be known as the Union Committee. The Union at all times shall keep the Employer informed of the individual membership of the Committee.

  • Board “Board” means the Board of Directors of the Company.

  • Negotiation Committee (A) The Union may designate certain employees to serve on its Negotiation Committee, and such employees will be granted administrative leave to attend negotiating sessions with the state. No employee shall be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee's regular workday for any day the employee is in negotiations. The agency shall not reimburse employees for travel, meals, lodging, or any expense incurred in connection with attendance at negotiating sessions.

  • Evaluation Committee A The Association and the Board agree to establish a standing joint Evaluation Development Committee for the purpose of establishing the procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District and to regularly review the effectiveness of the procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District.
