Provision of Bulletin Board Space. The Employer shall provide bulletin board space at appropriate locations in the shops for the posting of union material by the Council and its affiliates. Provision of Bulletin Board Space. The Employer shall provide bulletin board space for Union use. The Employer may make available to the Union specific locations on the premises for the placement of bulk quantities of literature of the Union. Subject to operational requirements, a representative of the Union shall have the right to meet with new employees to make a presentation of up to one-half hour. Employees shall be granted leave with pay to attend these meetings. ARTICLE DESIGNATED PAID HOLIDAYS Designated Paid The following days are Designated Paid Holidays for employees covered by this Agreement: Good Friday; Easter Monday; Victoria Day; Canada Day; Day; Civic Holiday; Hamlet as declared by Council; Labour Day; Thanksgiving Day; Remembrance Day; Christmas Day; Boxing Day; New Years Day; and Any other day proclaimed by Council as a civic holiday. A new employee must work thirty (30) consecutive working days before a Designated Paid Holiday is granted with pay. Any employee who missed work either the day before or the day after a Designated Paid Holiday without the prior consent of the Hamlet shall not be paid for that day and missed. Falling on a of Rest When a Designated Paid Holiday coincides with an employee's day of rest, the Designated Paid Holiday shall be moved to the employee's first working day following his day of rest or another day mutually agreeable to the employee and Hamlet. When a Designated Paid Holiday is moved to another day under the provisions of clause 14.04:

  • Bulletin Board Space The City shall provide reasonable space on bulletin boards for official Union notices of a non-controversial nature at each central work area.

  • Use of Bulletin Boards Space shall be made available to OCEA on agency/departmental bulletin boards within the Representation Unit provided such use does not interfere with the needs of the agency/department and material posted is not derogatory to the County, County employees or other employee organizations. Notice shall be dated and signed by the authorized representatives of OCEA responsible for its issuance.
