Procurement and Disbursement. 6. The EA shall cause the subborrower to (i) adopt to the extent possible, international competitive bidding procedures when the amount of the investment is unusually large and economy and efficiency can be gained by following such procedures, and (ii) ensure that the goods and works to be financed by subloans shall be purchased at a reasonable price, account being taken also of relevant factors such as time of delivery, efficiency, and reliability of the goods, and their suitability for the subproject and, in the case of consulting services, of their quality and the competence of the parties rendering them. For build-operate–transfer (BOT) projects and variants, if the subborrower or engineering, procurement, and construction contractor is selected through competitive bidding among international entities in accordance with procedures acceptable to ADB, such subborrower or contractor may apply its own procedures for procurement provided that such procurement is for goods and works, and consulting services supplied from, or produced in, ADB member countries. The individual loan proceeds will be disbursed in accordance with ADB’s Loan Disbursement Handbook (2007, as amended from time to time),1 under Chapter II for DFIs using direct payment, reimbursement, and imprest funds procedures.

Procurement and Disbursement. 8. Under the guidance of the EPP steering committee, and with the assistance of the EPP- PMO, where applicable, subborrowers will be required to follow the relevant procurement rules in ADB’s Procurement Guidelines (2007, as amended from time to time) for financial intermediaries, and adopt appropriate procedures including (i) payment of reasonable prices; and (ii) fair canvassing when selecting suppliers. Procurement must be from ADB member countries. Subborrowers will be encouraged to procure goods through competitive bidding or shopping when such procedures are most appropriate in the interest of economy and efficiency. In case of noncompliance, GFTC will exercise the right to recall the subloan. Procurement procedures will be in accordance with the procurement manual prepared by GPG, acceptable in form and substance to ADB, and approved by the EPP steering committee.

Procurement and Disbursement. The EA shall ensure that all the procurement of goods and services financed by the IIPFF will be carried out in accordance with ADB’s Procurement Guidelines (2007, as amended from time to time),1 as applicable to this Facility (para. 3.12 thereof).   • FEES AND DISBURSEMENTS 6.1 The Service Provider hereby agrees to perform the service for the term of the agreement as per the Pricing Schedule (Annexure: C)

  • Reduction and Disconnection NYISO or Transmission Owner may reduce Network Access Interconnection Service or disconnect the Large Generating Facility or the Developer Attachment Facilities, when such, reduction or disconnection is necessary under Good Utility Practice due to an Emergency State. These rights are separate and distinct from any right of Curtailment of NYISO pursuant to the NYISO OATT. When NYISO or Transmission Owner can schedule the reduction or disconnection in advance, NYISO or Transmission Owner shall notify Developer of the reasons, timing and expected duration of the reduction or disconnection. NYISO or Transmission Owner shall coordinate with the Developer using Good Utility Practice to schedule the reduction or disconnection during periods of least impact to the Developer and the New York State Transmission System. Any reduction or disconnection shall continue only for so long as reasonably necessary under Good Utility Practice. The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Large Generating Facility, the Attachment Facilities, and the New York State Transmission System to their normal operating state as soon as practicable consistent with Good Utility Practice.

  • Disbursement 7.1.1 Subject to the availability of sufficient moneys in and from the Funding Source based on Agency’s reasonable projections of moneys accruing to the Funding Source, Agency will disburse Grant Funds to Grantee for the allowable Project activities described in Exhibit A that are undertaken during the Performance Period.
