Personal Illness/Injury a. All requests for this type of leave of absence must be submitted in writing to the Department Head or designee. In proper circumstances, the Employer may waive the requirement that said request be in writing.
Personal Illness/Injury. Accumulated sick leave may be used if the absence is due to personal illness, injury, quarantine, medical/dental appointments, or disability resulting from pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, or child birth.
Personal Illness/Injury a. If an Employee's absence from work will result in the depletion of the Employee's Sick Leave Bank, the Employee must apply for a Leave of Absence without pay. Said application shall be made before the depletion of the Sick Leave Bank occurs. The Employer is to be given as much advance notice as possible.

In any school year, whenever an employee is prevented by illness (including pregnancy-related illness or disability) or accidental injury from fulfilling his/her assigned responsibilities, the Bucks IU shall provide full pay up to a limit of ten (10) days for employees working a period of ten (10) months, and twelve (12) days for those working a period of twelve (12) months. Sick leave shall be cumulative from year to year without limitation. Xxxx leave is granted pursuant to Section 1154 of the School Code.
Personal Illness/Injury. Applicable labor rate unless working in their classification. If working in their classification the employee will be paid their normal rate. SENIORITY The employees seniority will not be affected by the light/restricted duty program.
