Labor Rate definition

Labor Rate means the hourly amount that must be paid to individuals performing Contract Work under Sections 220 and/or 230 of the Labor Law of the State of New York or any other applicable prevailing wage law at the time the Work is performed. All payments to Contractor for Contract Work done on a labor or “Time” basis (“Time and Materials” “or “T&M”), shall be based on the Labor Rate for an individual multiplied by the number of hours worked and increased by the Percentage Mark‐Up bid by the Contractor.

  • The Contractor must specify whether each Loaded Hourly Labor Rate applies to the Prime contractor, each Subcontractor, and/or each Division, Subsidiary or Affiliate.

More Definitions of Labor Rate

Labor Rate for any Operation Year shall mean the Hourly Wage Rate for workers classified as "Others."
Labor Rate means the average of the minimum regular hourly wage rate (excluding fringe benefits for purposes of this Lease), plus any taxes applicable thereto, (1) for a ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and (2) for an office cleaner, determined as follows: (1) The minimum regular hourly wage rate for porters with 5 years service in Class A office buildings, from time to time established by Agreement between the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Inc., and Local 32B- 32J of the Building Service Employees International Union AFL-CIO or by the successors to either or both of them; (this rate shall be used in computations under this Article whether or not porters' wages are actually paid by or for the Landlord or by independent contractors who furnish such services to the demised premises or to the Building). (2) The minimum regular hourly wage rate for office cleaners with 5 years service in Class A office buildings, from time to time established by agreement between the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Inc., and Local 32B- 32J of the Building Service Employees International Union AFL-CIO or by the successors to either or both of them; (this rate shall be used in computations under this Article whether or not office cleaners' wages are actually paid by or for the Landlord or by independent contractors who furnish such services to the demised premises or to the Building). (3) As used herein, the term "porters" and the term "office cleaners" shall mean, respectively, that classification of employee engaged in the general maintenance and operation of office buildings most nearly comparable to that classification now applicable to porters or office cleaners, as the case may be, in the 1996-98 Agreement with said Local 32B-32J (which classification is presently termed "others" in said Agreement).
Labor Rate means the hourly rate which is calculated by dividing the annual employment-related direct costs incurred by a party for any employee performing services under this Agreement by 2,080 hours.
